No, YOU date to prep for marriage. I dated to have a good time, never really expected to meet someone that I would love, cherish, want to commit my life to. I definitely wasn’t “preparing to marry” every guy that I dated, so why front? You can have respect for one another w/o manogamy. The problem, IMO is when DECEIT becomes a factor. If everyone was more honest about how they REALLY feel, things would be much better on the relationship and dating arena. It’s more than painfully obvious that people are LYING about their willingnness/readiness to commit and faking it, and f*cking up relationships and marriages left and right. Me personally, I’d rather know where a man stands, whether I like what I hear or not. Most women (IMO) would rather be lied to.
