Boris Kodjoe was on the starting line-up of the So So Def celebrity basketball game at Morehouse College this weekend. This is definitely a fella we’d like to see more often… Larenz Tate, Chris Tucker, Bow Wow and much more were among the team members.

I honestly have grown to prefer the darker brothers, too, in my “maturing”, but i have to admit that i don’t discriminate. The lighter ones can still get it and Boris could DEF get it. TWICE

kesha .. i agree with you, darker is my preference, its all in what you grew up around and all my brothers are light skinned except on medium colored, but my light skinned brothers look like boris and prince and shemar moore so i know how they think they are way better looking sometimes than the women and some are, but i guess they turned me towards darker skin men,, but light or dark its the eyes for me and the smile,,, damn the skin color!!! like Blair Underwood those eyes have it!!!

Weird how black men prefer light skinned women, but black women prefer dark skinned men. Kinda tells me that there’s no in between, and that leaves a lot of dark skinned women and light skinned men single or something.
EVERYBODY HAS THEIR PREFERENCE.. i have dated light and dark, for me the darker ones have treated me like a queen , me being a red bone every darker skinned man i dated worshipped the ground a walked on, i made no difference until the chocolate brother came with the utmost respect so i give it back,, that dont make me bad, just appreciating a good man when i see one,, would give the same love to light skin, but in my case light skni was looking for dark skinned women, so there you have it!

We MUST be from the same family and raised the same way because i swear you took the words right outta my mouth. I think light skinned brothas are used to being adored, spoiled, admired, catered to, so (from experience) its difficult for them to recognize that we are the females, we are the ones that need all that attention. Darker brothas (again from experience) just treat me better. But again i say, i dont discriminate. Almost all the men in my fam are light skin (besides my daddy) so i obviously love them all. I’ve just found that the darker brothas treat a sista better. Like she’s the female and not him. They dont take as long to get ready as the light skin brothas too, lol. Boris has never really struck me as the particularly “conceited” type of black man, alot more humble and laid back. I’m dark skinned, but ALL brothers are fine to me, whether they’re light like Shemar Moore or chocolate like Omar Epps.
