I officially feel old because I’m about to say it…music just isn’t the same. In the 90’s singers didn’t have to look like models or even be considered beautiful. There was a place for everyone. Now artists (and I use the term loosely) all look like they come out of a kit. Now if a female artist isn’t drop dead gorgeous, people can’t wait to attack her. And male artists have to look and act like they just got out of jail but live a lavish lifestyle. The actual music is a distant third. Some of the greatest artists of our time wouldn’t make the cut based on this criteria alone. My only complaint is they don’t look like a cohesive group. I’m not saying they have to dress alike but they need to do something that makes them look less random.
