  • Gimmeabreak78

Nigeria, stand up! I’m so proud of them. Nigerian families in the US and Europe are very big supporters of education. I am shocked to see children who should be in the 4th grade in high school, though!

  • Alrighty Then…

Wow! Very impressive! Good job kiddo’s!

  • Ara

So beautiful, I love it, that’s what I’m talking about. Those Africans, at least the ones I have come in contact with, are usually very smart.

  • Ara

Some one said it above me, all children can be smart and high achievers in the right enviroment and positive encouragement from their parents. Parents it starts with you.

  • Masie_UK

They need to relax their hair

  • Gimmeabreak78

    @juliemango

Nigeria (like almost every other African/Caribbean country) has leaders who are still in the pockets of old colonial powers. SMH.

  • WhatAWorld

Damn, that’s good.Because at nine all I wanted to do was go outside and ride my bike in the street, even though I was told not to,lol.Congrats

I’M NOT SURPRISE BECAUSE NIGERIAN’S ARE SMART MO’PHUKHERS

  • White Devil

    @ HF

I think that attitude is only among black Americans. I don’t think it is a problem in the UK.

  • ManchesterUKer

Black Nigerians on average beat White Britons in the UK in GCSE exams by quite a lot, the parents usually put a lot of emphasis on education

  • brownskinbeauty

Nigerians are hard-working geniuses. Kudos to these kids!

  • Black1st

This can be possible for EVERY african americans TODAY!!!!! if Parents take the time out and TURN OFF the Tv and radio and READ READ READ… build the confidents within the youth and reward success and refuse failure….Black Excellence

Congrats to the kids and their parents. :)

When I was that age I also was an upstart, I began reading my brother’s science books and made plans to build an Helicopter, and loved building personal rockets from scratch, this was before they had rocket Kits.
It gets lonely when you are a smart kid.

  • always knew

ANd I’m glad that they didn’t relax their hair. They kow who they are and don’t have to feed into those AMerican stereotypes…Even blk kids have weave in their heads and then u want to talk about KIDS, who are woried about their education instead of sticking all kinds of fake hair and chemicals i their heads…

SMMH at blk mindless whitewashed retards in America… :(

(not whts talking geasy, but their own..You ought to be ashamed of yourself for even talking about some KIDS that way…)

  • honey

@HF in the Uk we don’t worry or think black educated people sound white, that is their accent, they sound normal to me.. I love it.
Some Americans are way too concerned about fitting in and following the flock.

  • Soul Touch

Now this is news I like to hear.

To the poster who said they need to relax their hair, you need to get your head out of your a$$ cause it’s dark as hell in there.

  • kigali- Life for Dummies

The oldest girl has the hair style of a lot of Nigeiran girls in the UK. Its permed and styled with just a part. I always thought that was strange but it looks one million times better than the way the Afrocaribs do their hair in the UK. Ah!!!

  • Meee

Asia is probably whipping their kids right now.

  • kigali- Life for Dummies

    @getting down

Why? This is a story from UK about Nigerians.

  • getting down

    @ Kigali

I know that, that is why I said, “we know why”.

  • TheOne

This is awesome. Blacks in America could learn something from them. They obviously value education.

  • Della

I BET THEY HAVE GOOD PARENTS TOO AND THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

  • burito9245

That is great! Very inspiring. Congatulations to the twins.

  • Gimmeabreak78

Americans are just too obsessed with entertainers, celebrities. While American kid want to grow and be a celebrity, Africans and Asians kids want to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, and have a professional job. They want to get knowledge.

You can never buy knowledge. That’s the reason, some of these celebrities are not inteligent at all. I would rather get knowledge, because you will get far in life with that. I’m proud of them.
