This concert last night was AMAZING!!! Even if you have never purchased an album of hers, you could’ve still enjoyed it. Her lyrics are so poetic and truthful that whether you can sing along or not, you can’t help but to dig what she’s saying. Erykah has always been a “space cadet” since “On and On.” lol, I don’t work for Erykah, but you had to have been there to understand the Dopeness that went on at Wingate last night. Period. Case closed.

The problem i have with this is the fact that people always have something to say. I guarantee there were artists that werent there who shouldve been there but she showed up when others who are praised didnt bother to attend. This young lady means no harm to anyone. I was at this concert last nite and it was effing amazing. She put on a damn good show for it to have been free. She even went in the crowd and started jamming w/ people. It was great! BADU FOREVER
For all u NYC heads Jill Scott will be performing at the same park (wingate park, Bk, NY) next Monday. The show is also free and starts at 8 but I seriously suggest u get there early. You can even bring your own food and chair.

Some of ya’ll are crazy. She killed it at that performance. As a singer, I was so in awe with her. Her vocals were tight. She looked beautiful, crazy afro wig and all.
