It’s funny that you mention Reggie’s mother and how she probably really feels about Kim. When they broke up because Reggie wasn’t ready to get married, people started saying it was probably because his mother warns him about Kim. Shortly after that, Kim’s mother made sure she made a red carpet appearance with Kim, Reggie, and Reggie’s mother and had Reggie’s mom make a statement that she loves Kim. LOL! I don’t expect “mainstream” publications to cover black women — it’s one of the primary reasons magazines, such as Essence, were created and remain popular. I was surprised to read the news about Vogue Italia’s new site (I think it’s called “Vogue Black”) which posts black-oriented fashion news — I’ve visited it, and it looks interesting. I remember having to call several bookstores to buy one copy (that’s all I could get) of the all-black Italian Vogue issue a few years ago. I also subscribe to InStyle, and I’ve noticed more black actresses and models being featured (Whitney was on the cover of an issue not too long ago).

I don’t read “Maxim,” so I don’t know, nor care, who’s on the cover.

I say the same thing, I too dont get all of the hate on these sisters; I too think it is JEALOUSY. I mean what laws are they breaking and who are they bothering anyway?
