According to her babies’ daddy, Lauryn Hill is gearing up to make a comeback:
Lauryn Hill is building up material for a major comeback after giving birth to her five kids – she has song ideas and lyrics scribbled all over her bathroom. The reclusive star’s longtime partner Rohan Marley reveals Hill is as prolific as anyone in the music business, and cannot stop writing lyrics and tunes while she’s on hiatus. He says, “She writes music in the bathroom, on toilet paper, on the wall. She writes it in the mirror if the mirror smokes up. “She writes constantly. This woman does not sleep.”
This sounds more like the behavior of a deeply disturbed individual, rather than a prolific artist. Jumping on stage dressed like an ass-clown from another dimension was sort of a dead give-away. I guess we can all expect to see more of this in the near future. SMH.

Now his nearly sixty year old, inferiority complex ridden, in the closet ***** is relegated to repackaging up his old swag with a few new songs. That sucks.

No one really knows what’s going on with Lauren, but I knew something was wrong when I saw her way back on the Smokin’ Grooves Tour with her guitar. She had just cut off her locks and her performance was just bad. Acoustic guitar is wonderful when you have material that is melodic. To this day I have no idea what she was singing about and actually got up to walk around during her performance. I respected her need to express herself as an artist (Prince does it all the time), and I have the right to not buy music that doesn’t move me. Honestly, I don’t think we’ll be hearing from Lauren any time soon. Just hold on to that Miseducation album as an anomally. She shot her wad like Orsen Wells and that’s it folks.
