Why you say? Because if you had mustered enough energy as to enquirer about my back ground, you would know that I happen to be smack dab, in the middle of the entertainment business.

Entertainers are as good as the people that manage them, including accountants, and financial consultants. All of the aforementioned, with the exception of a few, have college degrees. Some from ivy league schools.

Did you actually believe that these entertainers make it to the top of the mountain, all by themselves. Especially being some of which, have but meager talents, other than sleeping with the right people?

Sorry to have to educate you via broad band, but what makes any entity, cooperation or individual, a financial success is a team effort. Never the individual themselves.

I believe in education but it is not the only thing that makes one smart. Being innovate and creative and taking risks is also being smart. Having lots of letters after your name does not. Most actors, models, ahtletes and others in entertainment do not have degrees but they are successful and smart.

I know plenty of people with PHD’s who are not that smart.

If Tyra used what God blessed her with to get money by modeling than so what. She still does not have to be called nasty names because someone disagrees with a picture she took. Michele Obama has several degree and yes she has proven that she is smart not by walking around with her degrees but speaking with intelligence. I don’t always agree with what Tyra does or says but she is not stupid, sometimes she is emotional, so what!

Stop trying to put down someone’s entire career when you know nothing about what it takes to be and stay a model. If it was easy then every beautiful girl would be one. Tyra has 2 TV shows, she produces and writes, when she modeled she was an ICON. Don’t berate her achievements because you don’t like her.

On the tank top she is wearing a button that says “I have a crush on Obama” with a lipstick print on it.

She talks about Obama and what a great president he’ll be. She is quoted as saying “I just pray to God that he wins.”

This is from a blonde, blue-eyed, Oscar winning actress that is from “a good family” and is considered a fashion icon.

The August issue of Bazzar has Jessica Biel on the cover. Jessica Biel does not talk about the election, but there is an article about Nancy Pelosi in this issue.

Nancy Pelosi, democrat, and Speaker of the House of Represanttives talks about how impressive Obama is and how “It’s almost urgent that we have a Democratic president.” She decribes Obama – “He has a certain grace and dignity and an intelligence that shines.”

The target audience for this magazine is white women, preferably white upscale women who can buy the merchandise in the ads. Because although some of us can afford these items we are still ignored as consumers.

So this concept of the Obamas in the White House using Tyra is to appeal to this audience and their young daughters (& sons) who keep Tyra on the air.

The only black people (outside of the Obamas)in consideration when this piece was done were the Tyra and the black models used.
