Whats up with that is they are letting her express herself. Maybe she will be like Cher’s son..who knows. But instead of suprressing who she is they let her be free. Not too hard to understand.

She’s a kid. Why is this an issue. i used to teach and when kids would dress themselves, they’d come to school in tutus and jeans and mixed-matched socks. She’s a kid. Are you them same person you were at 4 or 5? Jeez.

I read in another gossip rag that they call her “John”… further, I don’t think this TODDLER is capable of choosing her clothes, so she is not expressing herself, rather SOMEONE is expressing themselves FOR her…

Maybe Angelina and Brad aren’t “morphing” little Shiloh into anything, rather allowing her to find what works.

This is deeply wrong. This is a child with parents of means, and more than likely Brad and Angelina are very intelligent by allowing their child to find and create their identity by choosing her own clothes.

Well Angelina has said plenty of times that Shiloh wants to be like and dress like Maddox. She hates dresses and anything girly and always wears Maddox’s old clothes. And that Shiloh refuses to answer to Shiloh, she wants to be called John. Sounds like a kid expressing herself to me. If my little girl wanted to dress like a boy, I would put her in some fly ish too instead of having her look tacky bc she doesnt comprehend how to match her attire yet. :-/

My mom said by the time I was three I was dressing myself. Not all the time as we went to family outings or parties so she picked out dresses for me. Or like when we went to have portraits taken, she’d dress me. But she did allow me to express myself through clothing and I picked some off the wall outfits. I’d mix stripes with polka dots and wear different color shirts/pants with different color shoes/socks. I’d sometimes even top it off with a hat. At Shiloh’s age, she doesn’t identify with what you’d call “gender roles”. Example: Typically, girls wear dresses and boys wear suits, a boy would want to play with a firetruck while a girl would want a Barbie and so on. Shiloh is not at that age. To her, clothes are clothes.

when I was a child my two cousins and I dressed like boys because we wanted to be like our uncles who were a bit older than us. now all three of us dress feminine. it is just a phase.

He has 3 sons, one biological, Knox, and two adopted, Maddox, and Pax, However, him being a normal human being, Im sure he loves them all the same. I feel more and more sorry for some of you sad excuess for humans, that I dont know what to do.. People like you is why we are so lost has a human race..

I don’t get how/why people say people are “forcing” homosexuality onto us. That would mean if you saw two men kissing or two women kissing or just together for that matter, you’re influenced by it and can “turn gay”. I know if I saw this, I would not be affected. Nor would my sexuality be changed. I was born straight. Period. Therefore no one can persuade me to feel an attraction to the same sex. I’m secure with who I am. But something I do not believe is that being gay is a choice. Why? Because I don’t choose to be straight. I just am. And while being otherwise may be considered a sin, it is not my place to judge.

Anyway, back to the actual topic, as others (and I) have stated, she is a child. There are already plenty of reasons given as to why this should not even be a big deal. She could be (temporarily) influenced by her brothers – she does have brothers you know, she is also not aware of “gender roles” at her age (she’s too young to understand girls are expected to wear dresses and play with dolls), and she, by picking out her own clothes, is just expressing herself. I’m sure over time what she likes will change. As of right now, you can’t say who she will be in 10 to 15 years. And really, it’s none of concern/business. She can do what she wants as long as she’s not breaking the law. And she’s obviously not.

All children look to dress up we all were tom boys probably but I still do not think that it is right to take a child that is growing up and very impressionable in the world at such a young age to make her think it is ok to be called John… There were a lot of things that I wanted to do as a children but my mother set the standards of what was right and wrong because what does she really know as a three year old…

I doubt Angelina is trying to make her a boy, she’s just letting her express herself. Kid’s go through phases of liking different things and wanting to look different and instead of forcing her to wear pink princess dresses, she’s being allowed to be herself
