Beyonce is barely recognizable in this L’Oreal ad. With her pointy nose and pale complexion, it look’s like she’s had a touch of the “Michael Jackson special.”
On the brighter side, peep Jay-Z the Camel and Bey (rockin the Barack Obama tee no less) all cozied up together on the streets of NYC yesterday.

In her earlier L’Oreal hair ads, she was darker, and had highlighted hair. When she does their makeup ads she is darker. Hell – when she is in public she is darker. It just looks like they want white women to buy the hair color, because if they showed her more brown than pink, white women would not buy it. They want her to have universal appeal. But I guarantee that if it was for their Women of Color stuff, she would almost be the color of India Arie.

She had to fly home with one real big sneaker and one of the same style in the correct (two size smaller) size. When she got home she found out she broke the baby toe. We laugh about it now, but I know that does not feel good.

All of these young women are going this route. Look at Ciara: when she first came out, she was athletic-looking, and pretty – couldn’t sing worth a doo-doo, but she was pretty. Then she went blonde, then back to black, then she lost all this weight and had collarbones so sharp she could slice a roast with them. Still can’t sing, but she looks so angular and Nicole Ritchie-like these days.

How cool would it be if L’Oreal featured Beyonce brown-skinned and sun kissed, with her natural textured hair? It doesn’t have to be “nappy”, but maybe her own, perhaps. ya this ***** happened in Canada, n a little quick history lesson 4 y’all yankees. The asians actually were persecuted here quite severely, during WW2 they were rounded up and kept in concentration camps here in canada, where they were forced to build railroads and many were killed. They called them internment camps, it’s something rarely ever spoken of in Canada. You can’t really blame immigration for this especially because there was a kid who bought his laptop of of the guy a little while before this happened, the asian was trying to sell it for 600 but he let it go for 60 then the kid realized he needed the p*****word so he went back to the parking lot and the guy put in the p*****word and gave him a free carrying case. The kid said the guy was really normal and friendly. So it’s weird.

I don’t think that the theory of evolution entirely contradicts the bibles teachings, however darwin made the leap to say that all species are linked which I don’t feel to be correct. I don’t think a human can evolve into another spieces or vice versa. I just think a species within itself can evolve, a human can change but still remain a human and so can every species and still remain their same species just altered to adapt to their environment

I think that part of evolutionary theory that fits the bibles teaching is the concept that humans or species can increase or decrease in life span for 1, In the bible people lived for 500 years, however even around the time jesus died it was uncommon to live much past 100, this can be deterimined as a physical change in species. It’s naive to think that nothing has phiologically been altered in our genetic make up since the dawn of time, that doesn’t mean we were created by the evolutionary process

that’s the good difference between the theory of evolution and the bible, I don’t have to believe all of the theory of evolution for it to be true. I do and would have have to believe the entire bible. So you can’t say that because part of beliefs about evolution aren’t true then none of it is, because it’s pretty clear that some of the stuff is evident fact, but then the theory part about it being responsible for the creation of our species or humankind I believe to be a fabrication with no actual proof supporting it

I went to a christian school when I was younger and the private college I go to is mostly christian, unfortunately most of those people do more harm than good, by looking down on people and thinking they’re better. People of color should not lose their identity thinking they are not beautiful. People of color as in every race that is not Caucasian. Be happy for who you are and what you are. I am not changing my features for anyone. Unless you have a birth defect or been in an accident, stay as God made you. He made you for a reason not to look like a clone ^& everyone else. What does that say for the young girls of color? They are influenced by what they see on t.v. Beyonce is a beautiful young lady. I have the upmost respect for Oprah.
