People of color should not lose their identity thinking they are not beautiful. People of color as in every race that is not Caucasian. Be happy for who you are and what you are. I am not changing my features for anyone. Unless you have a birth defect or been in an accident, stay as God made you. He made you for a reason not to look like a clone ^& everyone else. What does that say for the young girls of color? They are influenced by what they see on t.v. Beyonce is a beautiful young lady. I have the upmost respect for Oprah. She said she was going to get a nose job & she thought about the little African-American/Black girls and she changed her mind. Oprah has more money than she will ever be able to spend. I bet Jay-Z won’t fall for that mess. He will keep his looks.

Beyonce has been that way she’s just more out w/it. Rihanna is lighter, Megan Goode is lighter, Eve is lighter…and all of them are rockin a weave.

Rihanna short haircut that she has now is tracks.

Most of them are fake and working towards a career goal no matter the cost.

Not saying it’s ok, but it’s working for them.

These days (most) celebs will ride the wave of conformity and put on for whatever arena they are put in. They try to be like water and if they want to work – most have to.

If it’s physically possible they are used as chameleons…change for us (the man, the media). Hell be everything and some of them try to. As in Beyonce.

Freeze and turn into ice, get warm and turn into steam…she does & tries it all.

I’m sure she thought the end was result was what she thinks of everything else “It’s beautiful and I’m so blessed (giggle)”

I’m with Beyonce…. your heritage, your self-worth, the image you portray to your young fans, the example you can give to the world to show that black women can succeed WITHOUT having to feed into white American idealism, representing those black American women who paved the way for your ungrateful azz, the work you could do to help further the plight of future generations, NONE of that ish matters!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s ALL about that paper. And, even if you have enough money between yourself and your husband to survive three lifetimes, you should still strive to assimilate..and become as white-esque as possible to secure even MORE money. Because in the end, your soul, you ancestors, your family, your fans…none of them matter.

It’s all about the $$. Right on B. Get yours!
