People, calm down. Tyra Banks is not the editor-in-chief of this magazine. I guarantee you she didn’t come up with this idea, she just happily went along with it.

I see it as a cute way to model career wear, instead of the usual boring spread with a model “jumping in the air” in a wrap dress or slacks.

Kudos to Tyra for making that money and keeping her name in the news.

I believe some of these bloggers need to lighten up, I mean you just can’t be uptight about everything. It was a joke, and I doubt that the Obamas’ take offense to any of this. While I know that some things have hurt Obama’s campaign–like Rev Wright and Ludacris’ song, I don’t think that Tyra’s photo shoot will hurt them. At the same time I hope people don’t go overboard with all this attention on the Obama’s as a couple. Let’s focus on him becoming our next president. I actually think that Tyra is a smart business woman: just because she makes jokes does not mean she’s dumb. She’s filthy rich, still in the news and on TV, and she hasn’t been a top model herself in years-so she must be doing something right.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s funny how they rewrite history and make it seem like certain things never happened. It’s like that saying, ‘If you want to hide something from a black person, put it in a book’ or something like that. That’s why we have to educate our kids. I will make sure my children know the truth.
