Days after he was involved in a serious car wreck, it appears that Morgan Freeman and his wife are divorcing:
Freeman and his wife of 24-years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, “are involved in a divorce action,” the actor’s Mississippi-based attorney and business partner Bill Luckett told Access Hollywood. “And for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”
Freeman was involved in an accident over the weekend, which saw the car he was driving flip. The actor and his female passenger, identified as Demaris Meyer, were driving on Mississippi Highway 32 in a rural area of Tallahatchie County at 11:30 PM on Sunday evening, when Freeman’s car went off the right side of the road and flipped over.
Freeman and Meyer, who has been described as the actor’s friend, were on the way to Freeman’s home when the accident occurred.
Damn, he had the accident while he was creepin’ out with his side jawn. Trife.

Actor Morgan Freeman broke his shoulder and arm when he flipped his car over in
Mississippi on Sunday night, according to new reports.
The actor and his p*****enger Demaris Meyer had to be cut from the wreckage and airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee after Morgan lost control of the vehicle on Highway 32, near his home in Charleston, MS
After initial concerns about his wellbeing, the 71-year-old’s publicist has confirmed Freeman is suffering broken bones, but is expected to make a “good” recovery.
He was visited in hospital on Monday by Bill Luckett, friend and co-owner of Freeman’s Mississippi restaurant Madidi, who said the star was sitting up and talking.
Meyer, who according to reports is a friend of the actor’s wife Myrna, is suffering from minor injuries but is “in good condition .”

I’m a little disappointed in Freeman. He was hiding the swirl on the side while appearing with his black wife like everything was honky dory to to keep his black audience base. That makes me think he thinks black folk wouldn’t accept him, though he is clearly a superior actor because he has a white chick. That makes me think he’s a small minded man, and I will no longer be watching any movie he is in….except the next Batman movie.
