The reason they were not friend’s is because of the way she obtained a relationship with him. She was pregnant before they married; therefore, how much of a friendship could be developed. I really feel sorry for guys sometimes because society really strips the humanity away from them so much. Unfortunately many men are raised with the mentality that men and women are complete opposites and most never even attempt to relate or try to be true friends with women and this is part of why so many relationships fail.

Its hard for you to be friends with some one when you’re so busy being condescending towards them. Friendship requires acceptance but for some reason so many of these so called alpha make it their business to supress all that is feminine. Eg. They constantly say women are too emotional, too clingy, too nagging, too this or too that. The main ones saying that a man has to be a man won’t even let a woman be a damn woman. If you open yourseld up to a woman 9 times out of 10 she’ll respond in kind but a lot of men simply shut off intimacy from their main girl/wifey only to go looking for it elsewhere. Its pathological.

Anyway Shaq is insecure and whether people choose to admit it or not this actually the reason why a lot of men cheat. There I said it and its the truth.

You can sugar coat it and put it anyway you like to you can call it. If you need an ego boost all the damn time that simply means that you have wavering self esteem. That is why 99% of men who don’t commit are afraid of commitment. Its a fear that they might give their all and its not good enough therefore they never fully commit and blame the women they get involved with for why they didn’t get close.

They say the woman was either too this or too that and would rather believe that all women are defective before they accept that they may actually be a major part of the problem. Actually both men and women do this but it seems that women in general are more accepting of men.

I read this article in Essence yesterday and while I think Shaq is a D.I.C.K., they did not tell the WHOLE story.
