I also pick up the frest fruits and vegetables and cereal and milk and eggs. Well f*ck it. I do all my food shopping there too (we have Super Walmart).

So I f*cking shop there. I have saved over $350 just this year alone.

I believe it is unfortunate that this happened. It is just as unfortunate to over-react to this event. One foolish person made an offensive statement. The manager immediately apologized for the incident over the PA system. If the “announcer” was an employee, then that person should be terminated. If it is proven that the announcer is an employee, and Wal-mart doesn’t fire him, there will be a reason to protest Wal-mart’s actions. Until then, there’s no reason to pretend that Wal-mart is the villain and all black people are their victims. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Wal-mart. I just don’t see how they can be portrayed as the bad guy in this situation.

It was a joke, but one I would have taken seriously. Just like whenever I see someone running that’s not jogging, I start running too. But this isn’t Wal-Mart’s fault though, some guy just got on an intercom and played a prank.
