About 6 people raised their hands indicating they disagreed with Senator Obama and the reporter said, “over half of the town hall people disagree with Senator Obama.”

Mind you, this was live TV and the reporter blatantly lied. All the other news anchor could do was shake his head because he was clearly aware of this fabrication of reporting the news.

@ Indigogg, this goes to show you dont know what the hell you are talking about…the $700 billion dollar bailout came under President Bush, not Obama…some of you tend to have short memories when it comes to this President. Obama bailed out GM (because if they failed not one of your @sses would help get 80,000 people jobs on top of the hundreds of thousands that were losing their jobs when Obama took office) and he and his people can be accountible for still not placing the proper regulations on these banks and not having strings attatched…but the major bailout came under Bush, which was a necessary eveil considering this country (nor any other) cant function without a steady financial sector..you know President Hoover allowed the Banks to fail and put a freeze on all spending and you know what his legacy is right? You seem to have a lot of time on your hands…that is never a good sign when one is trying to argue a political point on a gossip blog site. Ok, I’m going to give you a little bit of knowledge on the economics in THIS country (I emphasize the word THIS because I am not sure if you live in America or on earth for that matter). I live in Northern VA…’bout 25 miles south of DC where over the past 12 years the price of homes (including rent) has increased my more than 30% whereas the average median income has increased by less than 6%. So just in case you can not understand that, it means people are HURTING. Also, I just found out from my own company that we will be receiving about .5% increase on our April 1st annual raises but the cost of living last year increased 12%. So that kinda sorta leaves us still in the hole by 11.5%. That does not add up…..

Also, I noticed you made this particular comment very early on in the thread when no one was even posting about the topic of the interview but the way in which it was conducted, so that leads me to believe that you are just trying to start some s.h.y.t. on here. As far as paying bills???? WTF are you talking about? And the corporate stimulus package was implemented in 2008. I don’t know if you know this or not but President Obama did not take office till 2009. So just because part of the money was disbursed to those companies after he took office had nothing to do with this administration. And how about YOU tell US what can be done to make this country a better place? Please share, since you seem to be so damn enlightened.
