You’re right her last album was garbage and I think that is when she made the switch to that illuminati, I’m not 100% positive but it sure does seem like it and it’s a shame because she is real talented to.

I love Erykah Badu-I REALLY DO! But I’m not sure what I just listened to. Was that the album intro or what. Her last cd missed me with all those psychodelic sounds all over the place. This track sounds real similar. If that is what I have to look forward to, I’ll wait and sample all of the tracks on iTunes after it comes out. While she is “Returning to the Ankh,” I would really appreciate it if she “Returned to the REAL singing!”

There was a time when she couldn’t go wrong in my opinion…I wasn’t impressed with the last album.Everything before her last cd was absolutely awesome!

Most albums that are distributed through a mainstream record label have some kind of symbolism on it. The cover of MJ’s album for Dangerous was like this too. I was excited to hear a new Madlib track, so thumbs up for that, Badu. I hear 9th Wonder also worked on the album and I’m sure it’s going to be worth listening to overall.

Yeah, she is definitely on some other ish. But I’m not totally sure if she’s on the illuminati stuff because if you listen to the introduction and “The Healer” on her last album, she talks about people being programmed and how we need to wake up and stuff like that, it’s pretty deep.

honestly, erykah badu is just ok. i mean, what does she really do on this track? she is also not a great singer. I have seen her live and I do believe she is an all around good performer. who has great songs with great production…but she aint all that

I actually like the flow of this track “Strawberry Incense” but when that guy starts quoting something in (what sounds like Hebrewic language) in the background while she is singing, it makes you wonder. They could have translated it, but then you would know exactly what he is saying and I don’t think that was the intention of the artist to do that. They could be speaking some sort of satanic ritual over people and you would never know.
