Reality Star Said Show Producers Kept Her In The Dark About Public Enemy Rapper

The woman who stole Flavor Flav’s heart in one of the original reality dating shows “Flavor Of Love,” said she had no idea that she’d have to compete for his affections.

Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander said the reality show producers kept her and the other contestants in the dark about what the show was actually about until the very last minute.

“I didn’t know who it was,” Hoopz told us July 28 at a private dinner in NYC. “They wouldn’t tell us. They just asked us if we were single.”

She added: “When he came in, I was like ‘Oh S#@t.’ I hid for like the first two episodes.”

The “Flavor of Love” show pit Hoopz against more than a dozen other women vying for Flav’s love, and the rapper later chose her as the winner of the 2006 dating show. Although the pair broke up soon after, Hoopz went on to star in other reality shows and enjoyed another high profile romance with former NBA player Shaquille O’Neal.

Now, the petite stunner is launching “Go Girl,” a line of champagnes, whiskeys and wine, and is getting ready to do another reality show about her experiences with the paranormal.

Hoopz told us that after 11 years in the reality show realm that she has no problems with her life playing out in front of the cameras.

“Reality is me,” she said.
