I so didn’t like this latest album from Robin Thicke @ all..I think he could’ve done much better.

But he looks great as always & I like Estelle but I’m not a fan of this bowl-inspired coif though.
Love her strong features,smooth skin tone & almond shaped eyes.

I liked RT’s breakout release, that which really made him popular in the R&B community. This new flavor with all the drive-by performers is rank. Get back to crooning, this stuff is lost without JUST you!

I thought Maxwell came and took his style back. Why is there a Robin Thicke? Dude is corny.

In a way, I like the song more now than I did when I first copped the album. The problem with Robin Thicke is that he is boring as an individual and he doesn’t stand out in production or sound from Justin Timberlake or Maxwell. Whenever I hear a Thicke song, I cannot help thinking about Maxwell or Timberlake. How can he just stand out on his own?

Robin Thicke’s whole album is really good imo, I love it.

I actually like this song. I like Robin Thicke as well. I dont think that Robin Thicke is lacking soul at all. If you listen to all of his albums you can definitely sense that he is putting his all into his songs. I really hate it when they compare Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake. Justin Timberlake is the epitome of the word gimmick. He is the total package he looks good, sounds and (tries) to dance like Michael Jackson. Justin Timberlake does not have any soul what so ever. My opinion is that his music is “cookie cut shaped perfect”, cause its so commerical. Robin Thicke is not commerical, he does his own thing, and just because he doesnt dance like the “typical” R&B artist that makes him corny? Whatever. I’d rather listen to Robin any day over some fake artist like Justin Timberlake.

I actually like this track and a few others.The album was different from his others.But I am a fan none-the-less.Also Robin has been doing this for a few years now!

I love my black entertainers and such…..but,A lot of those same singers worked with white people to make the music that we love so much.Music only has a color line because of how the media portrays it.Its supposed to be a universal entertainment,not 100% Black music and oh he’s “wack” and so is JT(Who actually does write and produce his music with the help of some others).If you listen to every song with a closed mind,How can you say that you love music?

Please stop fighting the wrong fights and stand up for something real,instead of putting color lines on music and throwing a fit when you face one in real life!

Color lines will always exist with commercial music in terms of marketing and perception. Even though it shouldn’t be that way, it is what shapes perception and helps a person determine whether or not they want to buy a record or not. When folks here a song they love on the radio and he may have a voice that come across as a black sounding artist and then is surprised when they find out that the artist is white that is a natural reaction beacause of perception. Executives at record labels always market records with race involved (not color), makes sence to me if they want to get greatest bang for their buck by targeting the audience that would more than likely buy there music.
As long as radio stations are playing Robin’s music it is commercialized since it is being played for the widest audience to hear, then that person can decide to buy it or ignore it.
