Please get a clue, this has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative. It’s about someone being insensitive to a child who lost his Mother.

I am an Obama supporter, but I think his failure in the health care debate has been that he hss failed to clearly articulate its details to the American pulic (especially the more controversial aspects, abortion, death panel rumors, etc.). Most people don’t know what or who the health care bill covers and then you have both sides, liberals and conservatives, making stuff up as they go along (not to mention all the conspiracy theorists who think everything is a covert Illuminati operation).

That aside–the fact that Rush Limbaugh decided to call out an elementary school student about the death of his mother is deplorable. It’s not even as if he was just generally making the statement that the boy’s mother would have died anyway. He seemed to be taking a perverse pleasure in telling the boy that directly because Obama’s health care bill supporters have rallied around him. For that, I hope he chews on a grenade and dies.

My big questions are who is going to pay for all this health care?, why are people using kids to get what they want?, and with so many other problems going on in this country why is giving people something they can’t afford such a big deal?

I don’t believe this child’s show of support for healthcare reform was an attempt to prevent his mother’s death- but, his upstanding acknowledgement that healthcare reform is needed (based upon what he witnessed happen with his mother). Had it been available for his mother, maybe her outcome would have been different. Instead of adults demeaning this child, more should applaud and heed his activeness instead of being sideliners and criticizers.

What was truly cruel is liberals parading an 11 year old before Congress for their own selfish needs. By the way his mother received excellent care at no cost. Better care than she would have received under this future health plan. If this plan is so wonderful and will save so many lives. Why does it no go into effect until 2014.
