LisaRaye decided to stay with her cheating ass husband:
LisaRaye has changed her mind. The “All of Us” actress was planning to divorce Turks and Caicos Premier Michael Misick, but now she’s moved back into his mansion. “It’s not that she would miss him, she would miss her position,” said our source. “She’s grown accustomed to the lifestyle – the gifts, the cars, the status.” The two have had problems since they wed in 2006. LisaRaye has been linked to former NBA star Gary Payton. In April, Misick was accused of raping one of LisaRaye’s friends, a claim he denied.
Damn, it’s a shame what a little bit of scrilla will do to a nicca. LisaRaye just needs to leave this cat, for real. SMH.

(CNN) — Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film “Shaft,” has died, sheriff’s officials in Memphis, Tennessee, reported Sunday.
Singer Issac Hayes seen performing in the U.K. last year. Hayes was found dead Sunday at age 65.
Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Schular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was *****ounced dead shortly after 2 p.m., the sheriff’s department said.
No foul play is suspected, the agency said in a written statement.
Hayes was a longtime songwriter and arranger for Stax Records in Memphis, playing in the studio’s backup band and crafting tunes for artists such as Otis Redding and Sam and Dave in the 1960s.
He released his first solo album in 1967.
In 1971, the theme from “Shaft” became a pop hit and won an Academy Award for best original theme song. The song and the movie score also won Grammy awards for best original score and movie theme.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002

I know this might sound bad, but I really don’t feel that sorry for Lisa. If it is true about her and Gary Payton, then this is just karma. Plus, something about Lisa strikes me as her being sort of “haterish”..I once remember her being on 106 and park a while ago and her saying a sly comment about the Oscars and it almost came off as if she was trying to talk a little slick about Denzel or Halle and their Oscar wins and ever sense then i’ve been turned off by her. But the difference between her and them is A.) they can actually act and deserve all the credit they get and B.) they make their own money and won’t ever have to marry someone to ensure their financial state.
Some women in that business are funny as hell..they walk around acting as if their sh*t don’t stink and call woman outside of that business “groupies” when all along they are trying to marry the richest man/athlete/prime minister they can get their hands on as well. I just have to add this.
I talked to my aunt (in-law) about this very thing when I was 21. She said, each woman has to determine what she can deal with for herself. She said she had to put up with some mess from my uncle, but she wasn’t about to lose him to some other woman. They have been married for over 35 years and it is the second marraige for both of them. My uncle treats her with love and respect and she has been a pampered stay-at-home wife for the past 20 years. My uncle just retired about 7 years ago. From the time I had that conversation with her I learned it wasn’t cut and dried. Every woman is not going to leave because her man cheats and it doesn’t mean she has low self esteem. It just means she loves that man and in her mind he is worth fighting for even if the fight is with another woman.

What makes me a “STRONG” Black woman, you ask? I can answer that easily! There are several things. For one, I respect myself. Specifically, this means that I require any man that I am in a relationship with to give me the same treatment that I give them. In other words, since I DO NOT cheat on any man that I am dating, I REQUIRE that he not cheat on me as well. This means that if he does cheat, or even if I suspect him of cheating, I IMMEDIATELY dump him. My parents reared me to respect myself. My father always told me that “Regardless of what they say, men ALWAYS SHOWS you who they are.” I never forgot those words. Furthermore, this also means not tolerating being with someone who does not value me. When I read your post, I couldn’t help but laugh! I mean, REALLY hard! You know, I’ve noticed that whenever a Black woman is STRONG and BELIEVES THAT SHE IS TRULY DESERVING OF A QUALITY MAN, women are quick to say that she’s been hurt and is resentful. Nah. What REALLY makes women resentful is when they continually put up with cheaters and run across a woman who is strong enough to walk away.
