I feel sorry for the girls who got cut, I feel for both of them, skin draft leaves scars also, a plastic surgeon knows how to put those stitches in the face ware it want scar as bad, they also have cream that will help to heal the skin to a even tone and that too will help. There is more to this story because the girls who got cut had nothing to do with the situation so there where some words and there was a brief scuffle, the two girls where kicking the one girls a&& at first, than she left and vowed to come back and they stayed around like they where crazy and she returned with a knife. The boyfriend tried to break up the fight between his ex-girlfriend sister and cousin, who shouldn’t have been fighting with that girl and waiting around like they had everything under control. If it wasn’t for the ex-boyfriend one of the two girls may have been murdered. All three girls where at fault that’s the way I’m seeing it somebody need to go home and stand down, it seems like the two girl got cut was trying to stand their ground and got the worst of the situation. SAD! REAL SAD!

This story is so heartbreaking, because even though many say that looks do not matter, it is only human nature to want to be attractive physical wise. In addition, the face is the first part a person see’s. Also, PEOPLE! I remember when I was in college (CAU) and a female college student who was pregnant by a guy who had another girlfriend or “main chick” and her friends seen the pregnant girl enter into a popular grocery (Publix. The girls friend called the “main chick” who came up to the store and immediately stabbed the pregnant girl several times while she was walking out the store. I had a really good guy friend who was a narc for the store (tail shoplifting et cetera) who physically had to get the other girl off the pregnant (he had to man handle her to save the other girls life). The dude was actually with the pregnant girl, didn’t try to help, and actually seemed “flattered” at women fighting over him. The girl could’ve died.

I don’t know the specific details of this incident beyond what I read in the NY Daily News artices, but I think there are some young girls who are not being taught the proper way to deal with conflict — they are overly aggressive and are even capable of displaying violence similar to that shown by some men. It is much better to walk away from an altercation than to put yourself in harm’s way.

To me their is no doubt, it is judgemental, because he or she hasn’t met the person they are only going by their name on a resume or sheet of paper, therefore it is judgemental if one hasn’t personally met the man or woman with such a name. A few years ago ABC News (I believe it was either 20/20 or Nightline) did a segment about how a black sounding name affected job applicants. The exact same person submitted her resume to several different companies under her real name (Taniqua Jenkins, or some other “black-sounding” name) and then submitted her exact same resume under a more mainstream-sounding name (Mary Robinson, e.g.). “Mary” got six requests for an interview. “Taniqua” only got one.

Yes, I think I recall that segment. Names mean a lot, more than I think some people realize. I think there have been cases in which some individuals have chosen to change their names when they’ve reached a certain age.

At the end of the day regardless of what a person’s name is that DOES NOT EXCUSE VIOLENT BEHAVIOR TOWARDS ANOTHER HUMAN BEING and EVERYONE knows that a names does not define a person or represent their overall character. Wrong is wrong and right is right. This young lady did not deserve this and I think it would be more productive to focus on how to stop such violence rather than focus on a person’s name as if that justifies such behavior. I continue to pray for all those in the world, including this young lady, because emotional scars are the hardest wounds to heal.

Unfortunately, two lives will change as a result of this incident. The girl who was slashed must now live with this scar and the girl who did the slashing although not in Jail will eventually be caught and will serve time for attempted murder. Most likely 25 years to life.

Why the H*ll do men and women keep fighting over each other. There are many other ways to enjoy yourself by yourself. More people need to learn how to have self gratification it is so much safer…….LMAO

I’m still reading about the bill myself, girl. One of the controversial aspects of it, I think, is the exclusion of the public option. There’s more information about the legislation on whitehouse.gov, and I’m receiving e-mails about it from the administration and MoveOn.org, which has been very active, but what has been proposed seems to be still in flux. It looks like support is picking up for it, and it may have a good chance of p-a-s-s-i-n-g, IMO.

I tell people this all the time, they need to be mindful of what they name their children because it will affect their future job prospects.

Anyway, this situation is tragic.
As parents we need to do better than this. What are we teaching these children? Not one of the (almost grown)children in this situation had enough sense to run away or diffuse it. What she needs to doi is start using Cocoa Butter Now!!!!!!! They will probably tell here not to use it until the stitches come out but by then it wll be too late. Use it now and use it all day. Like every couple of hours put some on put on lots of it maket the area really greasy and don’t use that palmers bs. It is mostly wax if you see the ingredients. use the one that is a stick and it must say 100% pure cocoa butter. I usualy use cocoa care brand that I buy at walgreens. It works well but especially on fresh wounds which is why it is essential that she put cocoa butter on t now and at least 5 or 6 times a day. Put it on heavy and dont miss a day. The scar will go away but you have to do that exsactly and if you can;t rub the stick on cause the area is sore melt it down a little biit and make it a liquid and rub in on. But dont melt it in the microwave becuase that will change the properties of the cocoa butter and it wont work right. You also dont want to burn it by putting in a frying pan or someting/. A double boiler would be ideal.
