R.I.P Isaac Hayes, Passes at 65

This is turning to be a very sad weekend. Isaac Hayes passed today at age 65:
Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film “Shaft,” has died, sheriff’s officials in Memphis, Tennessee, said Sunday. Relatives found Hayes unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill. Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Our prayers go out to the Hayes family.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says a family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill on Sunday. He was *****ounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. The cause of death was not immediately known.
In the early 1970s, Hayes laid the groundwork for disco, for what became known as urban-contemporary music and for romantic crooners like Barry White. And he was rapping before there was rap.
His career hit another high in 1997 when he became the voice of Chef, the sensible school cook and devoted ladies man on the animated TV show “South Park.”

God works in mysterious ways…always has and always will. Isaac was one of the coolest artists and was a musical genius. I saw a do*****entary a couple of months ago about the infamous Stax Records. He wrote and collaborated with artists such as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Sam & Dave. My prayers are with his family and friends.

I think that type of conversation is uncalled for-for no one can say who can live or die except Him ^! It’s hard not to ask God ‘why’, but to accept losing people that you know you loved with all your might, and when I see people making light of people’s deaths, I take offense to it.

I knew Isaac personally. He and my uncle worked together since before shaft came out. When my uncle got the call that Isaac was dead he went over to the house and the treadmill was still running. He was preparing for a live concert that was gonna take place Thursday in Memphis. He will be missed……………..

Now that I paid my respects. People deal with death differently. Some people grieve, some laugh, some just go in plain denial, and some just act plain ignorant.
How many people have been to a funeral, wake or rep*****e where a family member showed out.
They fell out, whooped and hollered, cussed everybody out. Tried to fight other relatives, started blabbing all of the family secrets, etc.
That’s all that’s happening on here. As many others said, relax. People on here show a pattern. Ignore the ones whose patterns you can’t get into and celebrate the one whos patterns you dig.
