First of all, how has the brand evolved? It looks like pretty standard dummy mass market fare from where I’m sitting…The logo could be torn away and replaced with a Baby Phat kitty or an Apple without illiciting even the slightest response. Or is it just me? As for the ads, Joy Bryant wouldn’t be caught dead in this trash and it’s funny that he should have chosen her when she’s everywhere on Bravo for the preview show of that new series for Rachel Zoe. She doesn’t style herself, obviously but she’s meticulous and shrewd…In other words, she would never ever ever ever ever ever wear any of this stuff. EVER. EVER.

They both look great. However, these pieces are more like accessories you would find in mall department stores such as Rave, BodyWork, etc not jewelry (real pieces anyway). I couldn’t see myself working anything on his display.

I stopped wearing rocawear because it became too hood looking and too baggy, Marc Ecko and Ralph Lauren are the move now, but if this ad is any indication of whats coming, I’ll look into Rocawear again.
