Thomas Hudnall faces a charge of a false report of explosive/weapons of mass destruction.

Police say they received a 911 call at 4:51 a.m. Monday from a man who said, “There is a bomb at the Biltmore Hotel, and death to all Jews.” The caller then hung up.

Officers went to the hotel and determined that the threat was a hoax.

The hotel determined that the call came from the executive chef’s office. Police looking at surveillance videos identified Hudnall, who admitted to making the call, authorities said.

Hudnall is a custodial employee who the hotel says has not been in trouble before, according to WTVJ-Ch. 6.
