You pretty much summed it up. If (and that’s a big “IF”) your marriage doesn’t have a firm foundation to start, coupled with a deep sense of trust and committment to the union then, it’s just a matter of time.

The thing that gets me is–people can usually figure out there is SOMETHING wrong in their relationship but instead of honestly addressing them, they choose to look to others for comfort. That only adds more static to what most likely could’ve been salvaged by just being open and honest.

i c your point, I personally don’t look at fame from the negative perspective, like if I managed to achieve signifigant success in my career, through a lucritive venture, I would make every effort to promote myself until I became famous. I see fame as the most precious and useful asset that someone can acquire because once some1 is famous they can utilize it to get to where/who they need to and you become a comodity in and of yourself. I don’t see why being famous would prevent some1 from finding some1 they love before they get married

We are born needing love not giving love, loving somebody requires a commitment to learning how to meet another’s needs. Not everyone realizes that being in a relationship requires skill, skills they must develop like anything else. Practice makes perfect and examining how you relate to people is something that shouldn’t end. There are always improvements we can make as individuals and when someone doesn’t want to do their job in a relationship it is then over.

I hope they both learn something from this so that they can enjoy life the way God intended because I’m sure neither of them wants to make the wrong investment again.

As for Rosci, if it’s true what they say I really hope she has a good excuse for being so low because she’s really hurt her reputation with this. Not that she cares but I she used think she was all right despite what 50 said lol, but not anymore.

Germany was off the hook, got the chance to check out some other cities while there (Cologne, Munster, etc.) went to the countryside to an authentic Bavarian restaurant (yes the men wore those lederhosen (sp) and the waitresses were dressed like milk maids) and then my brother’s wedding was simply awesome. Okay, I told y’all he looks like Boris Kodjoe right? Anyway, he and his bride were simply gorgeous and the reception went until 3am. I ate, drank (much), and was extremely merry!!

Also, fighting has escalated in Georgia, and Condi has been sent to the region. McCain was on CNN making remarks on the conflict.

There is just so much to write and speak about. I keep stressing…. the next 3 months will tell all that is much been kept under the rug. Let me tell you what happened to me. So my internet connection has been acting up, and I was in the middle of taking an online exam when I lost the connection. You are not able to re-enter the exam after losing a connection ( I guess because it implies cheating).

I went to my professor and asked him for concessions based on the fact that I was in the middle of taking the exam and it disconnected. Do you know that this mo-fo tells me “no!” AND I HAD A LETTER FROM AT&t TO PROVE IT!! He wanted to give me a ZERO!!!! Can you believe that? I was devastated because you can’t pass this class with anything less than a “B!” I was so stressed out and defeated, but then I thought “this m-fer is NOT going to stand in my way!!!!!!” Now you know if that had been “becky” he would’ve acted right.

You know I had to go to the dean of the college about this ish. Luckily, she was on my side. I have a re-take tomm so wish me luck!

Moving On…Only my PR family would appreciate this tid bit. So the other night at a party, Teairra Marie and Shemar Moore were sitting next to each other on a sofa amongst other people. Shemar kept reaching across Teairra and had his arms and hands all in his face, bumping her while he was talking to someone next to her. She asked him several times to stop. He wouldn’t so finally she cursed him out and told him to stop reaching across her like she wasn’t sitting there. He grabs her by the neck and throws her across the room in front of everyone. She goes to the DJ booth and grabs something and proceeds to beat him with it. Security comes and tried to throw them both from the club. Once she let them know he popped off first, he got booted from the club. What an a$$hole! What man puts his hands on a woman? I hate when people reach across me and not say excuse me. Imagine having some one constantly reaching in your face and bumping you after you’ve asked them not to? He’s soooo lame!!

The wife was a doctor 1st, put that nicca through medical school, and then he starts making paper and decides to act a damn fool. They hired a new blonde PA and within months he starts messing around with her. They were in the clinic trying to keep it on the DL but it was SO obvious that they were slapping skins. That nicca divorced his wife (the dr) and married that PA after that woman spent $150,000 of her own $ to put him through med school.

That’s a horrible story, but I heard a lot of tales like it. You really have to be careful about the man in whom you choose to invest. I think men show their true sides very early in the game if you pay attention and female intuition is our best friend. It started early in 2006, months before Edwards has acknowledged, O’Brien said in an interview broadcast this morning by CBS News’ The Early Show.

OCALA – Before she was former Sen. John Edwards’ mistress, before she was Rielle Hunter, before she was the face splashed on national television networks, she was the teenager Lisa Druck of Ocala and a horse lover.

Hunter’s father, James D. Druck, a successful Ocala lawyer representing insurance companies during the 1980s, was implicated in a scam that involved a local man, Tommy “The Sandman” Burns, who electrocuted horses so that their owners could collect the insurance money.

One of Burns’ first victims was the show horse Lisa Druck rode, Henry the Hawk.

Burns said in a 1992 Sports Illustrated interview that James Druck showed him how to electrocute Lisa’s horse using a stripped extension cord plugged into a wall socket.

Burns said Druck showed him the execution scam so Druck could collect the $150,000 he had in insurance on his daughter’s horse.

Burns’ arrest in 1991 drew national attention.

Druck died of cancer in the Tampa area at some point in 1992.

There are many blanks in accounts of Hunter’s early life, but a few of those blanks can now be filled in.

Hunter was born Lisa Jo Druck in Fort Lauderdale on March 20, 1964. By the time she was a teenager in the late 1970s, the family had moved to Ocala, where her father started his law practice.

She attended St. Johns Lutheran High School in Ocala, although she apparently did not graduate.

Susan Ergle, now a literature teacher at St. John Middle School, remembers attending classes with Druck 27 years ago.

“She was pretty wild,” Ergle remembered. “I didn’t hang out with her that much, I was more of a goody-two-shoes.

“She was always hanging with the upperclassmen, going to parties,” Ergle said.

Two of James Druck’s law partners after he arrived in Ocala were Dan Hicks and Irwin Weiner, both of whom still practice law here. Hicks said he knew little about his former law partner’s private life and Weiner did not return telephone calls for this story.

By 1982, James Druck and his wife, Gwen, bought Eagle Nest Farm on County Road 225-A and moved there. During that same year the couple divorced after nearly 21 years of marriage. In addition to Lisa, they had three other daughters: Roxanne Rae, Jennifer Ann and Melissa Sue. As part of the divorce settlement, James Druck got custody of the two minor children, Melissa Sue and Jennifer Ann. When the couple divorced in Marion County court, Lisa Druck was 17 years old. She would turn 18 in two months.

Later in 1982, James Druck married for a second time, but the marriage was annulled after only 22 days.

By the time Lisa Druck’s horse died, Burns had already earned the nickname “Sandman,” a term horse owners gave him because when he showed up at horse shows, invariably a horse would mysteriously die.

Burns and accomplice Harlow Arlie, both of the Chicago area, were both held at the Alachua County jail after their arrest in Newberry, according to stories published about the crime by The Gainesville Sun.

Burns’ choice of execution method was electrocution because many veterinarians would wrongly determine the cause of death to be colic. That became a problem for Burns in 1991 when one horse owner couldn’t get their animal insured for colic. The owner asked Burns to break the horse’s leg instead.

So, on the night of Feb. 2, 1991, Burns held the horse while his accomplice Arlie swung a crowbar into one of the animal’s rear legs. The horse ran into the night screaming, falling onto its broken, dangling leg. The animal was euthanized when a veterinarian was called by the owner, newspaper accounts reported.

Police caught the two men and both were sentenced in Alachua County Circuit Court. Both men pleaded guilty or no contest to animal cruelty and insurance fraud charges and received jail sentences, according to Sun file stories.

After leaving Ocala, Hunter went to the University of Tampa but left in 1984. In 1987, she surfaced in New York in connection with a circle of hard-partying friends, including the novelist Jay McInerney.

In an interview published in a 2005 issue of Breathe magazine, the writer said he modeled one the characters in his third novel after Druck.

Druck left New York and moved to Los Angeles to become an actress, and by 1991 married Beverly Hills lawyer Alexander Hunter. By 1994, she had legally changed her name to Rielle Hunter. Six years later, the couple was divorced.

In 2006, during a New York fund-raiser for Edwards’ presidential bid, Hunter introduced herself to Edwards’ staff as a producer and briefly met the candidate.

One month later, Hunter had a $100,000, six-month contract to produce videos for the Internet chronicling the Edwards campaign.

You’re right, girl, this woman is used to being surrounded by opulence. Check this out: “In 1991, she married Alexander M. Hunter III, a lawyer; they lived in a $700,000 bungalow in Beverly Hills. It was there, in the heart of the movie industry, that she started using the stage name Rielle Hunter, and in 1994 legally adopted that name.”

Well, she just happened to luck upon a wealthy senator with a bring political future, and now she’s sitting pretty in Santa Barbara with her living expenses paid. . .

You know how they kill these horses without detection? They put a cattle prod or some other electrical zapping device into the horse’s rectum, mouth, or any area where it won’t be readily apparent the horse was electrocuted. Cruel and unusual. Seems Rielle didn’t fall far from that crazy tree.

At the center of that meeting at the Beverly Hilton was Robert McGovern, a California resident described as a spiritual healer of 20 years and a friend and former associate of the woman with whom Mr. Edwards has admitted having the affair, Rielle Hunter.

In an interview on Friday night on “Nightline” on ABC, during which Mr. Edwards acknowledged that he once had a relationship with Ms. Hunter, he said that Mr. McGovern was the one who reached out to him to arrange the July 21 meeting and that Mr. McGovern was in the hotel room that night.

But little is known about Mr. McGovern, who is 64, according to records, and lives with his wife in a modest ranch-style home a few miles from downtown Santa Barbara. The Web site Margaretsweet.com, which promotes spirituality and New Age practices, recently carried a brief biography of Mr. McGovern, describing him as “an intuitive” and “a healer since 1988” who had worked “with energy in the area of the emotional fields.” The biography is no longer on the site.

This is really bad, trs. I didn’t know about her father’s background until you shared that story with me — once that hits the national press, it’s going to look horrible for him. You know how fanatic people are about animals — this woman and her family are clearly nutcases, IMHO.
