Okay, this is some crazy $hit: Former Desperate Housewife star Nicollette Sheridan claims that the show’s executive producer literally slapped her upside the head on the set one day. According to her, when she complained to the network, she got fired.

Sheridan alleges in the lawsuit that creator and executive producer Cherry hit her in the face on the show’s Wisteria Lane set in 2008.

According to legal papers, Sheridan says she had questioned Cherry about a line in the script, when he then “took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head,” the suit said.

After a livid Sheridan fled to her trailer, Cherry came over to “beg forgiveness.”

When the star reported the incident to ABC which produces the series, the suit alleges Cherry retaliated by killing off her character, Edie Britt, in the hit show.

The lawsuit also names ABC accusing Cherry of further malfeasance of creating an extremely hostile work environment and behaving overtly aggressive and hostile toward certain cast members.

When co-star Teri Hatcher spoke out to ABC execs about Cherry onset behavior, Cherry allegedly told Sheridan, the suit claims, “I hope Teri Hatcher gets killed by a car and dies!”

Sheridan’s lawsuit is asking $20 million in damages.
