DMX Gets Arrested At Wal-Mart

Here we go again:
DMX was arrested for the sixth time this year as he attempted to go shopping on Thursday afternoon in Miami. The arrest was the result of a skipped court date Tuesday, the result of drug charges in Arizona. Police in Miami, Florida arrested and handcuffed the Yonkers-bred artist as he attempted to leave an area Wal-Mart. DMX was reportedly trying to surrender to police through negotiations with his lawyer. The Miami police apprehended him before those talks could come to fruition. The 37-year-old chart-topping rapper was to appear in Arizona for a pretrial conference for allegations of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession. DMX, born Earl Simmons, faces a number of charges in Phoenix, Arizona, ranging from animal cruelty charges to taking on the personality of another person.
Getting arrested in the Wal-Mart parking lot must have embarrassing as hell, that’s the direct opposite of low-key. It be a million mfers shopping there on a daily basis. Get it the fu*k together Earl. We sincerely hope this is the last time we have to write about his ass getting arrested.

I defenitely agree with your post regarding the spiritual battle that Earl has always been a part of. The Man is really taking him through it right now. I just hope that X is strong enough to let go of the spirit of chemical dependency, and embrace the urge to spread teh word. I have copped all of his albums, and you know the urge has been there from teh jump. I think whenever he makes the conscious decision to follow those urges, he will then become a truly touched speaker of the word. He can’t fight it forever. I would respect him as a Spiritual Teacher 100 times more than I would a dude liek Mase; only becasue I know he has been through some ill *****…That’s my word. Peace and blessings huh…

I agree with the spiritual battle. It’s like we all have this person in our lives. Speaking personally, I have an uncle addicted to crack. He started out with weed. A good friend of mine started out with weed and has been through it with more heavy drugs (x, meth, etc.). These individuals run from their Blessings and greatness that God has for them eventhough their family and loved ones try to tell them about it every opportunity they get; usually when they go pick them up out the ditch after getting beat up by the d-boys on Saturday night and on the way to church on Sunday and cry their eyes out and ask for forgiveness. Only to go right back out to the ‘jects on Sunday night. Addictions are hard to break. Some people really have that addictive spirit about them and once it’s in them, it’s there baby! I have tried weed and alcohol but don’t have that addictive spirit like that to chemical substances. I pray that out of me. I made a deal to the Lord that I’d trade alcohol for a motorcycle. DONE! When it came to drugs I didn’t have that issue. Tried it a few times and done. Sure weed is different than other drugs but either way it can be or will lead to an addiction. God help and continue to Bless this man. Stop running Earl!
