USHER sounded GREAT!! I didn’t know R.T. could go the low, wow what a change, he should make more music sounding like that. Can we talk about Tevin C. his voice hasn’t changed a bit…still sounding like a wounded bird…wow! I guess the industry is scrambling because folks are over the garbage and want “real” music and talent again. There is no way those of us that LOVE “real” music will support this mess. I truly hope Tevin comes out with something soon, he’s extremely talented. Plus, I am sure we will get original music from him. I just heard a nice song by Tony Terry the other day, I really need for these guys to come back.

I must admit, this version had to grow on me. I think the tempo is a little too fast but after a second take, I really like it. Glad to hear from Tevin again….good blend of voices.

They took this song and shredded it to pieces. You can never replace the deep sultry voice of Barry White. Had they kept it at the slow tempo it may have come out better.

I’m pretty much in agreement with everybody here. They sung the song (obviously not as well as the originals) well but the 808′s. That’s some throwback ATL-style for you. Ironically, If you played Ghosttown DJs in the A today most of the people wouldn’t even know what the hell it was.

I like the original waaay better but, I will give this a chance. Not really feeling this tempo for the song. This originally is a sensitive song for intimacy and love making. Now, these three messed up the mood of the song so, the original chemical make-up of the song is basically distorted. The tempo and the lyrics don’t go together and that’s not cool. But they tried. Some things should not be revamped and “Secret Garden” is one of them along with “We are the World.”

This is one time, I’ll say the actually did a good job in keeping a song alive, in a different way. I actually think it’s a great spin. I’ve heard silk redo it, and it sounds horrible…My dude Tevin YESSSSSSSSSS!!!! Do it TEV come back!!!! I love the original, hands down, but this is a cute rendition.

The original ” Secret Garden” did not need a remix and it did not need to be kept alive. Tevin sounds good but not like his old self. This song, did not do him justice but nevertheless, he sounds okay. The ATL beat did not go with this song—period. Maybe, if it had been a slower tempo with those Lil John’s 808s in that song he produced called ” Lovers and Friends” it would have been better but they just made a mess. It really was an immature move. Thanks.

I took a 2nd listen to the song and my conclusion is correct. The fellas, as brilliant as they are, they messed this song up. Ya’ll know it and go on and face it. I won’t tell, h.e.l.l. Tevin @ss sounds like he’s in the church choir singing to the deacon board. LOL—a mess.

The beginning of this song was Usher (lead vocal until 2:35 & again around 3:45), the middle was Robin….Tevin only came in at the end (around 4:36)to do ad libs and falsetto sorta-runs….that was NOT a good display of Tevin’s vocals. So despite the failure of this remix’s tempo, Usher’s vocals sounded the best; as a matter of fact, it sounds like the song is Usher’s feat Robin & Tevin.

Too fast…it’s a turn off. C’mon son. No lady wants you running in her Secret Garden, slow it down, Fellas. LOL
