Yung Joc clears his name from the trouble his Baby’s Mom started:
“When I got on, I was only ordered to pay $114 a month because the courts couldn’t determine how much money I was gonna make,” Yung Joc explained during a live interview on V-103’s Ryan Cameron Show. “I was like, ‘What the hell is that? Who can survive on that?’ As far as it looked to them, I didn’t have a job. But I was paying more [than what was ordered]. And something came up one day, and she came to me and said, ‘I think we need to sit down and talk, because I need more money. My attorney got with her attorney, I think we did it in a cool fashion,” Joc continued. “We came up with an agreement: I was paying $2000 a month, I would take care of all his medical issues, expenses, extracurricular activities, anything to do with my son. And that was the agreement, and I never missed a payment.”
The issue at hand, she said, was that the payments were not timely. Joc, born Jasiel Robinson, stated in his own defense that what his son’s mother is referring to as lateness is a matter of a couple of days, a delay that may simply be caused by how his child support payments are processed. “I don’t pay it directly to her, I pay it through [the Georgia Department of Resources Office of Child Support Services],” said Joc. “My banker wires the funds to DHR, they wire the funds right to her account. However long that takes, she needs to discuss that with them, and not put me out there bad like that.” While he says he is more hurt than angered by his former girlfriend’s actions, Joc did express anger at the media for exploiting the situation and jumping at the opportunity to paint him in a negative light.
In addition to reporting that he owed back child support, which Jester never claimed, the WSB-TV report pointed out only his previous encounters with the law. “They brought up all the charges I been through,” Joc pointed out. “But they never brought up the fact that since I been on, I’ve contributed over half a million to charities and I do charitable work every week…you got cats out here who don’t even be with their kids. And it hurts even more because I am a black man…you born into this world as a black man, your back’s against the wall. So I’m trying to do everything I can to go against the odds that was against me when I’m born…and when you look up in the media at stuff like this depicting your character to be just what they stereotype you as, it hurts.”

I didn’t read the original story that was posted, but I can attest to the attorneys general/human health offices taking a long time to post payments. I handle a garnishment export for our company, and I’m contstantly being called about missing payments. I have to explain to the mothers that after it leaves our hands/system, it takes the bank time to send it over, then the court system has to post and issue it to the mother. In some cases, it’s a few days, in others, it’s a week depending on how it’s disbursed.
We’ve had mothers show up at the guy’s job crying about how the man doesn’t pay support, and they’ll hunt the guy down at lunch. Of course, I’ll call the court, and they’ll have the payment, they just didn’t issue the check yet. Then the mother looks like an a$$, and is typically escorted off company property by security or the police.
Meshaun most of these people are talking outta they a$$ because they dont have children or don’t have custody of them BUT love to put their two cents in about how much it cost to raise one.

I’m sorry, but I know plenty of single mothers, and fathers (because that trend is growing, too) that work and live off child support. It may not be glamorous, but it’s a living.
I do taxes for a neighbor who gets $1500 a month in child support and is 40. She taught for 15 years and wants to switch industries, so she works part time for a non-profit and stays at home with her 3-year-old son. Her part-time job provides her with health insurance for her and her son, and because she works for the county hospital, it’s d@mn near free ($38 a month for both of them). She drives her old Honda (about 5 years old I think), pays for him to go to daycare, takes him to the park, museum, etc., and she’s saving what she can for him to go to college. She plans on working full-time when he gets to kindergarten or first grade.
I find it funny that this woman, who had little savings and no celebrity ex-husband (an executive who won’t pay more than what the court ordered) is able to live off less than $2500 a month after taxes, and has a full life and a happy child.
I think all sexes should take a long hard look at the person they’re sleeping with before a baby even comes along. See how they treat YOUR money when you’re just dating, because they’ll act a fool when you split up, especially when a child is in the picture.

I really just hope that these men learn that If their children don’t live with them, the mothers have to provide adequate shelter for the children. There are utility bills, food expenses and clothing. I am a single mother of 2 and I don’t ask for anything unless my kids need something outside of what that little bit of child support will cover. I work everyday and I don’t depend on child support. To all my single mothers out there, learn to stand on your own and don’t include that as a source of income. It helps when it comes. All men need to learn that if the mother should happen to buy a new purse or get a pedicure she deserves that because after all she is the primary care giver to the children. I feel that quaility time is more important than money any day. When you give to charity, I think you get some type of tax deduction. I am a paralegal and I have handled a couple of child support cases and just as Joc said, he is paying for “medical issues, expenses, extracurricular activities, anything to do with my son”. He has to have medical insurance, his son looks old enough to where is playing some kind of sport in school, so Joc is paying the fees and probably everything else associated with it. Hell, babamama got off good because normally, this is usually half and half. And you know what, Joc is probably paying on a life insurance policy held(which some judges require). So again, he is paying more than the $2k a month. I saw the news clip where she was crying talking about she needs the money to take care of her baby.
