"Kandi Burruss AJ Jewell"

Frederick Richardson, the man arrested in connection with the death of A.J. Jewell will not face any charges in Jewell’s death — and Jewell’s family is blaming Kandi!!! Pop the hood for details.

The Fulton County prosecutor’s office in Atlanta dropped charges of voluntary manslaughter against the alleged killer of Kandi Burruss’ ex fiancé, A.J. Jewell.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office ruled that Jewell died as a result of a sickle cell crises and not the injuries sustained in a fight with Frederick Richardson, the manager of the strip club Body Tap in Atlanta.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said the decision to prosecute or drop the charges was delayed because Jewell’s family disputed the original autopsy findings.

“Following the initial announcement from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office that Mr. Jewell’s death resulted from a sickle cell crisis, the family of the deceased expressed grave concern regarding the accuracy of the autopsy findings,” DA spokesperson Yvette Brown read in a statement. ““For that reason, our office enlisted the service of two additional medical experts who specialize in the area of sickle cell diagnosis and treatment.” Brown’s statement said the other medical experts concurred with the initial autopsy findings that Ashley Jewell died as a result of a sickle cell crisis.”

Jewell’s family remains irate at Burruss, whom they blame for prejudicing the case to prosecute Richardson when she went on the “Housewives”‘ reunion show and hinted that Jewell passed away from complications from sickle cell anemia.

Being mad at Kandi isn’t going to bring A.J. back, but we still can’t believe Richardson isn’t facing some kind of charges. We’re not sickle cell experts, but considering that fight was a bloody one, isn’t it connected to Jewell’s sickle cell crisis???
