I got a scholarship from my high school to LSU, among 3 others. I thought LSU would be the best choice… It was!! I enjoyed my experience there very much!!

Unfortunately most black men like to act oblivious to the fact that dark skinned women and light skinned women are not treated equally when it comes to beauty standards. A dark skinned man will rarely hear you’re cute to be dark skinned, that just doesn’t happen to them. Even in commercials with a black family the dad and son will be dark skinned but the wife and daughter will almost always be light. If the lady is dark she either has to have long wavy hair to appear that she’s biracial, or have short naturally kinky hair to appear “urban”. I happened to be light skinned and I’m not oblivious to it.
