Please, Chanel has been modeling for years! For the people that are saying she’s not high fashion…You probably won’t know what high-fashion is if it slapped you in the face. Especially if you shop at the neighborhood swap meet, or target. Most big fashion designers would push Naomi out the way to book Chanel. (Yep I said it!) And yes, she graced VC with her presence because that was kind of a step down for her. But hey, most girls would kill to be VC angel. Better yet, this girl is probably so busy that when they shoot the commercials for VC they probably have to work around her schedule! These two girls have been modeling since they were at least 20. They are now like 40, still looking like they are 20. I say this to say that, I believe that the age of the supermodels are slowly coming back, and Chanel Iman will be one of the first girls on board. People saying she is not high fashion are smoking crack & are hopelessly ill-informed. I am from UK and I am a former model. In Europe we don’t have VC or see her on Covergirl. We know Chanel from VOGUE!!!! and Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, etc. All the ads and runways of HIGH FASHION brands. Chanel Iman is one of the biggest high fashion black faces ever. She is the very epitome of high fashion – much like naomi was in her day. People saying she is not high fashion are showing their ignorance. Better to be quiet and have people wonder if u are an idiot, then open ur mouth and leave them in no doubt.
