This is not the only incident of her being rude. On youtube there are several performances where she is rude as hell to the host before performing.

This is a basic example of what happens when you did nothing for a record deal besides be the sister of a pop star. There are real singers who have to hussle all over the U.S just to get their record played on the radio and their NAME mentioned. This is just a case of entitlement. When Destiny Child came out, they were so humble & excited just to get air time. I still remember those early visits to Atlanta they made in 1998. Solonge does not understand what it’s like working from the bottle up.

But she’s gotta understand… In the media and entertainment world she is still relatively a nobody compared to her big sis and brother-in-law so naturally people are going to probe and compare her to B. She could have handled that a bit more gracefully.

ok so she didn’t go off like i thought she would from reading some of these comments. though what she did was unprofessional, the way she said it wasn’t rude or tacky. if, in fact, the news people had done what she thought they did, i don’t see anything wrong with the way she handled it. that being said, she could’ve made more of an effort to seem enthused about the music and the fact that someone is giving her some publicity. thats the second interview of hers where she’s been hella lackadaisical and seemingly uninterested. she needs lessons on how to sell herself and play the game. i enjoy her music but am now having second thoughts about getting the cd because of the nasty taste she’s left in my mouth after the last interviews i saw.

I think that she was absolutely justified in being upset, because why did they ask her on the show? I agree with you. I saw an old film when Beyonce was younger practicing with Destiny Child. Matthew Knowles chastised Solange for being in the way.

Beyonce is the prettier, talented one who gets all of the fame and attention. It is a hard thing to adjust to. This probably has taken a toll on her emotionally. They probably ask her about Beyonce everywhere she goes. I would be pissed off as well.

She just has to learn how to be the best person she can. We each have our own destiny. Beyonce has hers which entailed being a mega star. Solange will find hers.
