Halle Berry took some time yesterday to checkout her non-profit offices in Los Angeles — but recent reports suggest her nice side didn’t always carry over in her relationship with Gabriel Aubry. Pop the hood for details on the allegations that Halle’s a mean girlfriend!

In the latest issue of US Weekly a source close to the couple calls the actress, “notoriously difficult to be with”:

“[Halle] badgered him all the time.” Even though Gabe made an estimated $700,000 a year as a model, Berry belittled Aubry about the failure of his NY Cuban restaurant Cafe Fuego, which opened in 2006 and closed less than two years later.

“Halle called him a loser. She’d rub it in his face that she’s an Oscar-winning actress and he’s just a model,” says the source. “He couldn’t take it anymore.”

A second insider concurs. “She’s a nightmare, no picnic to date.”

And while no abuse occurred in her relationship with Aubry, sources say Halle is so scarred by her past that she’s been unable to move on in a healthy realtionship.

“She sabotages things,” says an insider close to both Berry and Aubry. “She couldn’t deal with someone unconditionally loved her.”

Poor Thang! If this is true, it sounds like Halle is gonna be one lonely lady… She might end up an old ‘catwoman’ for real!
