MTV Attention Whore Heidi Montag took a break from her plastic surgery planning this week to post on her Twitter, “I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.” By week’s end she made it clear that she is separating from her lunatic hubby. Pop the hood for details.

According to TMZ Heidi has decided to move out of their home and is currently searching for her own home in Malibu.

Heidi’s rep tells TMZ, “Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She’s tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career.”

We’re told Heidi — pictured above with Spencer in Malibu last Friday — is looking for a new place to live … in Malibu.

Heidi and Spencer called the police on Heidi’s mom a few weeks back … so there’s been plenty of turmoil.

A source close to Heidi and Spencer tells TMZ the tension in the relationship has been building for a while now … “It wasn’t just a sudden thing.”

She may not be moving alone either, Heidi’s friend Jen Bunney, who was a frequent guest on “The Hills” back in the Lauren “LC” Conrad days (before she backstabbed LC by hooking up with Brody) says she and Heidi have plans to move in together.

Bunney tells TMZ … “Heidi has spent so much time with Spencer and now she wants to be able to spend more time with herself and friendships.”

And Bunney says … she and Heidi will be doing their very own reality show which begins filming in July, which will focus on their relationship struggles and … of course … plastic surgery.

Heidi has been quoted saying she wants more “girl time” so this should fit the bill. She’s also said to be making claims that Spencer is interfering with her “acting career” because people in Hollywood don’t want to work with her because she has “a loose cannon of a husband.”

Um… sure that’s the reason Heidi. Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with you being completely TALENTLESS!

The whole thing sounds like yet another publicity stunt from the famemongering couple to us — or a new reality show plotline, but Heidi’s publicist is insistent, that unlike her breasts and 80% of her face, she’s for real.

“Yes the split is real,” a publicist for Montag, says. “Like to say separation for now. As you can imagine it is crazy right now. She’s trying to lay low the next couple days. What I can say is that it’s a separation for now, not divorce.”

Hope this one is true, but either way we will be happy when these hoes sit down!
