It’s so funny to hear people say this like its a bad thing. Listen no woman wants to do it alone but if she has to its a beautiful thing to know she is able to – and that goes for ANY group of women. Audio of Greg Leakes, husband of Nene Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, was leaked on LargeFM.com yesterday, and Greg, who has since admitted it was him on the tape, can be heard viciously b-a-s-h-i-n-g his wife Nene.

According to t-h-e-y-b-f.com, Greg borrowed some money from one of the radio show hosts Corey King. The money helped Greg take he and Nene’s house out of foreclosure. Greg however began avoiding Corey when he couldn’t pay him back. This led to Corey calling Greg and secretly taping their convo out of revenge. The conversation was then leaked online yesterday.

In the phone conversation, Greg shares that he plans on divorcing Nene and that the Atlanta Housewives fame has gone to her head. “I put $300,000 of my own money for [NeNe] to become a housewife. Without that, she wouldn’t be sh*t . . . She’s going to give me every dime of my $300,000 back,” said an angry Greg.

It seems Greg also intends to get spousal support from Nene, who is now the breadwinner of the family, thanks to her Bravo income.

Greg also phoned in to Kandi B-u-r-r-u-s-s’s internet radio show yesterday night, and admitted it was him on the tape. T-h-e-y-b-f sources share that Nene heard the conversation yesterday and was livid. She’s apparently planning on beating Greg to the divorce filing.

The dudes are gonna be looking for a new job very soon.. I wouldn’t be surprised if NeNe and Bravo sue.. and they should!

I haven’t been keeping up with the Atlanta shenanigans, but why did Greg borrow money from a radio host — of all people — anyway? That was bound to be publicized at some point. It does explain a lot, though. I recall reading those stories about their money woes in the AJC a while back, and everything seemed to be magically resolved.

I actually liked Greg the most out of all the men on the show. He genuinely seemed mature and caring. And if this is true about Lisa leaving the show, and he and Nene are divorcing, he’s right, there will be no actual houseWIVES on the show. I don’t think that’s the case with any of the other casts — OC, NJ, NYC (am I leaving any out?).

With the recent news about her son’s legal problems, shouldn’t Nene be focusing on her family anyway? I think her sons need her more than the Bravo audience.

Again I will reiterate noone NEEDS anyone to validate them… If you NEED someone to compliment you then you are a weak individual who lacks the strength to find vaildation withing yourself. So if you don’t have anyone around to validate you I present the same questions: do you kill yourself, do you not go on? Do your bills not get paid? Do you not eat? So you shrivel up? No you don’t! You struggle but because of YOUR inner strengths you pick yourself up and go one! It sounds alot to me like you are describing a WANT or a DESIRE but clearly not a NEED – and if you do not understand the meaning of WANT and DESIRE vs NEED I recommend a dictionary! Saying you do not NEED and man is not the same as saying that you do not WANT a man but to a small minded person! You DESIRE companionship. You DESIRE someone to “compliment” you or make you feel whole but you do not NEED it and its disgusting to try to make a woman think she is nothng without a man.

Now if black women were known for phrases like “I do not WANT a man or I do not DESIRE a man then I’d say they’re full of crap and probably have issues with themselves or men – but that is not what she is saying. To NEED is an active verb IMO. Which means your are proactive. It’s a necessity an obligation. Lack of means subsistence. You aren’t going to die. It does not mean you’re necessarily miserable and unhappy. What it means is you’re living but the quality of your life is limited and unbalanced. Anyone who rejects this has never had a true partner who complemented them emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and sexually.

Nene turned out to be a real fake and phony. Her nose looks worse, now that she got a nose job. She is a very attractive woman. That was not even necessary!

Maybe when they have met their true mate (and heaven forbid if they lose them), then they too will see the light. There is a difference between wanting and needing. Wanting is a temporary fix (i.e. we want a new car, a new house, new clothes). But what happens after you get what you want—it usually gets old and you eventually look for something new to replace it with. Now, when you have a true mate that you find out you need, there’s nobody or nothing who can replace them.

And we really need to stop believing a lot of those old wives tales and myths that we were told when we were younger, bc a lot of it is lies:
1) Women don’t need men–NOT TRUE
