BTW, I watched ANTM last night and was NOT impressed by the selection. Plus, was it just me or did a lot of those girls, including Isis the tranny, have jacked up teeth. Ummm, either they’re not gonna do much smiling or Tyra’s gonna be marching folks off to the dentist.

Isis looks better than some of the women on ANTM. When she first came out I didn’t realize she was the tranny until they mentioned it. As far as modeling she is one of the fiercest on the show. All of the judges liked her.

Thank you ! I was thinking the same thing, Tyra and Beyonce both rock the lace fronts but Im always hearing complaints about Tyras hair, when Beyonce barely changes her hair style and color. Tyra looks like Tyra, give her a break! Shes getting up there in age and as for Rachel ….she looks tired .

When you get older less make-up is better. Just concealer,gloss, and mascara maybe blush. The contoured nose and white concealer to open the middle of the face is a mess up close in the light. I always thought Rachel was stunningly beautiful. I can’t believe her and Dame have cash flow issues though.
I watched a recent episode of ‘Tyra’ and was disgusted at her immature take on the issue of “Light vs. Dark skin”…
She is STUCK on dehumanizing “Dark-skinned” black women while acting like she never had issues about her own complexion. She made a panel discuss how bad their lives have been because of their darker complexions. Like ALL DARK-SKINNED women crave to be lighter…Or for that matter, all lighter-skinned women are 100% happy with their appearance. She actually said she was so “white” as a baby that her mother was happy that she would eventually get “color”. Tyra has a huge complex when it comes to her own ethnicity. She loves saying she’s “black” but thinks she’s one of those highly diluted black women. Hence, her NEED for the consistent lacefront (wit dem silky baby hairs of course!) Tyra needs to give it up. There are people with that hair texture naturally and she is just perpetuating that same “master-slave mentality” she thinks she’s against.
Tyra wants to promote an “African” look for OTHER BLACK WOMEN but NOT HERSELF. She needs to be the EXAMPLE since she is a role model and acknowledges and wants to be the mouthpiece for “black” women in society. What is wrong with her natural hair/skin color/or NOSE for that matter. Why look like a clown/tranny to appease a caucasian standard of beauty? Same old issue. Tyra may not be extremely dark but she is dark nonetheless. She is a black woman and that is not a bad thing. I think coppin Beyonce has gone to her head…She’s on the path of Lil Kim…and eventually Michael.
For people like myself who are highly mixed, its almost like its a trend for people like Tyra to try too look like us. We have our own issues/concerns as well and life isn’t perfect for us because we have “baby hairs” naturally. I don’t make several million dollars a year like Tyra. Its almost like Tyra is trying to take on the persona of people like myself.
On another note, Rachel is East Indian/White so she’s only on Bossip b/c she married Dash.
