    Most Christian schools have a morality clause. Whether she has one or not we don’t know. I could personally care less if she has a child out of wedlock but I don’t know why she thought this would fly at a Christian school.

  • Ms.Brilly

    If there was a morality clause in her contract then the Christian school had a right to fire her. I don’t see much of a case for her there.

    However, the whole “invasion of privacy” matter seems to be valid. It’s appropriate to tell staff and students that a teacher will no longer be working at the school because they did not uphold the moral values or something to that effect but it would not be okay to go into specifics. She’s going to have to prove that school admins actually gave out specific information though.

    The morality clause at some of these Christian organizations is serious. One company won’t even allow you to sing or dance.

    The lawyer said companies over 50 people can’t enforce these rules, but Florida is a right to work state.

    If she’s a good teacher, she will get another job.

    christian schools are full of hypocrites. its a shame that they are still enforcing these clauses when i bet the teachers who are married have “moral” issues going on at home. these schools need a ho sit down

  • Marquis de Sade

    Gee, educated black chick, who decides to add on to the babymama craze in the A.A. Community – TYPICAL!

  • Peter

    If she didn’t read the contract or knew the rules that is her own fault. You can call the clause whatever you want but it is a private school with their own rules. Socially exceptable or not it is their decision and this woman didn’t adhere to their rules of conduct. Next time don’t have babies out of wedlock in a christian school.

    @Marquis

    You obviously didn’t read the story. She married her husband 3 weeks after she conceived. How is that AA baby mama behavior? you are a troll

    ALL black women?

  • Gimmeabreak78

    I don’t think this woman has a leg to stand on. Is the rule very rigid? Absolutely. But does she have a right to complain because she violated the rule and got caught? Absolutely not.
