You people here are crazy. Let me ask you this. When you get a job, don’t you not state what your objectives are? Don’t you say that you want to get to the highest level possible in five years? For Beyonce one of the highest things you can achieve is being an icon, and have legendary status. She wants to be the best at what she does? Why are their problems, unless your own life is miserable and you can’t achieve the same?

Beyonce is always held to some crazy standard that even you can’t reach yourself. You ask her to do all of these things with her music, yet half the time songs with a message don’t go number one. What happened when Beyonce released stand up for love???? Exactly. What happened when Beyonce released Listen? Exactly. You all are a bunch of hypocrites, and sound really petty and foolish. Beyonce can’t say she wants an icon, but you can say you want to be successful at what you do and make plenty of money in the process? GTFOH. I am convinced that some of these bitter blog posters can’t be happy in their lives. You know every bit of information about Beyonce and her accomplishments, yet you don’t like her and down her every chance you get. A shame.

Beyonce never said she was an icon; she said she hoped to be one. It kills me that some of you have said that Beyonce has no style- no originality; but Rihanna is pretty much a miniature version of Beyonce with a bigger forehead. And socially irresponsible songs…don’t even go there. Can anyone name 5 songs that are positive and socially responsible that are played on the radio?
