White folk have been stealing our music for centuries but these dumb-azzed Blacks like Usher are giving our music away. I remember when Black artist had to struggle to keep the likes of Pat Boone and the Beach Boys from stealing their music and most record companies didn’t even want to put a Black face on an album cover. When will we ever learn? White folks still won’t give us ice water in hell and instead of helping a talented Black kid catch a break Usher is helping the white boy.

Justin was smart to go with Usher instead of Justin Timberlake who also offered him a deal. Justin knew as a white artist in the pop and r and b realm he would have more creditability and longevity with a black artist like Usher. He’s smart and Usher is a smart business man for signing him. @Wake Up People – I get your point in that you are saying Blacks should capitalize on signing young white talent to their labels and make money off of them like whites have done with Black artists. The only problem I have with this is where is a talented young Black kid like say the reincarnation of Michael Jackson going to go? I’m not taking away from this kids talent. He can sing however Usher is using him. Usher will never hit the same success he had with Confessions, so bringing in the white kid was a smart way to bump his ends. I still think he would have been better with Justin Timberlake as his manager. Vocally Justin is better to me.

All the comments about conspiracy between white & black artists seem far of from reality. When ever there artistic issue occurring, there will be a bleed over. For example, Jazz is an influence of traditional African music on what is was more orchestral at the time. Sorry to say it, but this bleed over is not unique to “Black” People. This has happened to Hispanic Music, European Music, etc. Even Israel has adopted R&B and Rap. We have Japanese adopting it. That being said, it is far to wide spread to be a conspiracy of a particular group.
