Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith and Tupac

Jada Pinkett Smith isn’t shy about discussing her relationships. In a recent interview the actress says she and ‘Pac never hooked up because if they had they’d probably would have killed each other. Pop the hood for details about how she and Will handle their attraction to people outside of their marriage and see some shots of her out and about in NYC!

Jada Pinkett Smith called the COCO, Foolish and Mr. Chase radio show on WJLB in Detroit to promote her the 2nd season of “Hawthorne” check out some interview excerpts below:

In all of the documentaries we have watched of Tupac, he always discussed how much he loved Jada Pinkett so we wanted to get a better understanding of the relationship the two of them shared. Jada said that the best way to describe their relationship would be as a “platonic romance.”

She said, “We knew us being together in a romantic way would destroy everything because we were both fire. We would burn everything up! So we knew in order to preserve our relationship there was no way we could ever add romance to it cause we probably would’ve killed each other!”

Interesting… So why even call it a romance? We’re still not convinced these two never did the deed.

They also asked Jada about the rumored sexually-open marriage she has with husband Will Smith and this
s what she said about being attracted to other people, and acting on that attraction:

“We always have people that were attracted to that we talk about. That don’t stop just because your married. Somebody’s always gonna catch your eye. That’s real. Somebody’s gonna always be prettier than me, and somebody’s always gonna be more in awe of him than me and he gonna be like (in Will’s voice) ‘yo she really like me’ (laughter) but as far as somebody being right for us… is there somebody right for a nice night? Maybe. But somebody that can sustain our life and sustain what we’ve built together, absolutely not!”

Wait, hold up? She said somebody right for a nice night – maybe? Sounds like they really do have an open relationship. Gotta give her props on that cuz we know most folks wouldn’t be down to share Will Smith AT ALL — even for a night. But hey, maybe that’s what floats Jada’s boat.

black women need to understand that if they want a black man theyre going to need to learn how to SHARE. I see Jada already learned that.

I don’t see how anything from this interview says she shares her husband. I think it sounds good but not realistic.

  • Just Sayin

    Sharing has it’s limits.

If you want a stick of gum, sure be my guest.
If you want to stick it to my girl, He!! Naw!

  • Paula

That’s is how show keeps her marriage. People seems to forget marriage is just a contract between you both.

That is not what she meant you people are ridiculous, they dont act like being married means they dont c other people are atrractive, but it doesnt mean they are sleeping with anyone else but each other. She said yeah you could step out for a night with someone but that person would not compare to their spouse not that they are stepping out. Idiots!

  • black men hate black women, black women hate black women, white women hate black women, white men hate black women and the list goes on. EVERYBODY CANT BE WRONG!!

i would have luv’d 4 Pac n’ Jada 2 be 2gether, but it was the right choice 4 her not 2 be w/ him…..their relationship was one that only they could understand cuz when Pac spoke about her….his face just lit up!!!!
