AT LEAST HE TOOK THOSE DAMN BLUE CONTACTS OUT OFF HIS EYES!
I personally like Ashford and Simpson’s music and there are a lot of people who grew up to this music and was alive when it was out, so i am sure they pay to see it. Honeslty when I am 40 I’d still pay to see Mary J.
comedy!
MAKOOOODA MAAATAAAADAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! If that ain’t The Lion King, there isn’t one!!!!
On a serious tip… they are great artists with true talent.
I always thought that man looked scary as hell
Talented he may be but he has always reminded me of Mufasa from the Lion King.
Correction, Scar (not Mufasa)
I would go see them in concert in a heartbeat. They used to give good shows.
“….he broke out the sequence…”
Um, did Bossip mean SEQUINS?!
Look, I grew up listening to their music and I think that its good. I know they are married but has anyone ever wondered if this dude was gay? I mean he has femanine ways. Him and Alexander O’Neal made me question them back in the day when gay was still in the closet. Am I alone on this one. BTW I love Alexander O’Neal!
@omg wtf, they did..and thats what it says.
Heh…heh….I see they corrected it now. You’re welcome Bossip…Y’all either need to either enable your spellcheck or hire a proofreader…lmao
*****ing disrespectful
Ashford and Simpson are brilliant performers/producers and song writers who have always had their own style.
We have such a pathetic short term memory that anything that happened before 1990 is irrelevant.
A lot of todays artist get their samples from cl*****ic artist like Ashford and Simpson.
Respect
Show some *****ing r-e-s-p-e-c-t! These are the real stars of R&B. Not the b.s. that’s produced today. Nick and Val are actual musicians as well as singers who wrote hits that still stand the test of time. Ain’t No Mountain High anyone? Who the ***** will remember any song Mary J. and her producer driven contemporaries have sung 10 years from now? *****ody! If you idiots had any sense of history you’d shut the ***** up and respect real talents like Ashford & Simpson. You need to stop giving so much attention to the legions of untalented “producers” who have to steal from real talents like Nick & Val to make hits.
The sight of this dude made me cringe wnen I was younger.
SAY WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT THIS MAN, BUT HE AND HIS WIFE CONTINUE TO PULL 25-30 MILLI A YEAR IN ROYALTIES FROM HITS THEY WROTE BEFORE MANY OF US WERE BORN, SO RESPECT DUE! HATE ON THIS MAN ALL YOU WANT BUT I DOUBT HE GIVE A DAMN! PS: THEY OPEN THEIR YEARLY GIG AT FEINSTEINS PARK AVENUE TOMORROW NIGHT SO COP YA’ TICKETS BEFORE THEY SELL OUT!
I will pay anything to see these two in concerts. See most of the people on this blog don’t realize they were responsible for most of the hits in the 70’s and 80’s plus their own music. They have timeless cl*****ic music. Who is going to want to see Jay Z when he is 50 years old. Or for that matter his wife. The artisist of today that will be around like that are Mary, Alicia, Jill, and Eryka. Those are the only artisist that will have longevity. And oh of course Whitney and Lauren. Because they are coming back and it is going to be some great music.
now i have solid as a rock stuck in my head…
“Conk night” – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sho Nuff lives! Sho Nuff lives!
