Tiger Woods is paying up big time for his dalliances with over a dozen skanky hoes. With the terms of their divorce settlement worked out, Woods and wife Elin Nordegren are expected to sign divorce papers next week during a court hearing in Orlando. As per the terms of the agreement arrived at between the estranged couple, Nordegren will get a sum anywhere between $750 and $833 million and also the full physical custody of the couple’s two children; 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and 1-year-old son, Charlie.
Wife of the disgraced Tiger also receives the family home in Windermere and an unfinished estate in Jupiter, both in Florida. She also bags an apartment in Stockholm.
In exchange, the 30-year-old Swedish swimsuit model has agreed not to speak publicly about Tiger’s extramarital affairs, even after his death. The agreement also binds Nordegren not to pen any tell-all books about the infidelity.
“Tiger’s main fear is her telling her story after he’s rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter,” her pal said.
The silence that Woods is buying is perhaps costing him a fortune. According to estimates nearly 75 percent of Woods’ earlier estimated wealth of $1 billion would be wiped off as a part of the settlement.
“The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life – even if Tiger dies first – or she’ll lose the lot,” a friend of Nordegren’s noted.
The agreement was reached after intensive negotiations and a thorough review of Tiger’s financial assets.
In the words of her friend, “Elin’s legal team have done a great job digging up all sorts of assets.”
The couple will share legal custody of the children and the ace golfer would be able to visit the children for up to half of each week.
Woods is however not permitted to meet the kids in the presence of another woman unless he is married or engaged to her.
“Elin is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father,” her pal said.
Emerson College communications professor Gregory Payne, for one, has termed the mind boggling settlement as hush money “disgusting,” saying it’s an “egotistical tactic” by Woods.
“I would take the money and find some loophole and expose him,” Payne said. “Why is he so paranoid that his wife is going to give her perspective?”
