Is it really a shock that this story might be true? Chris Brown also thinks of himself as an actor and it’s common practice to use eyedrops to induce tears. He needed some drastic action to show his “human side” again and he probably thought this was a good opportunity to do it. That being said, I do believe it was incredibly tacky and in poor taste to use this tribute as his venue to do that. In the end though, it is what it is and Chris Brown really isn’t too strong on my mind. It’s his conscious and karma that he needs to deal with.

I love what you wrote. This is something I’ve been saying from day one. There is no way in the world that Chris Brown has take the appropriate amount of time to deal with his ISSUES with Violence.
He has been More concerned with lying and making excuses for what he did. His own mother makes excuses for his poor behavior. So you know he is not working on things. He is just going through the motions.
I think Chris should have taken off no less than a YEAR to deal with his issues with a DR. He needs to reflect and take steps to make sure he never does this again to ANY girl.

To be able to dance and sing and have to world see his love for Micheal was enough to flood anyone with overwhelming emotion. Truth be told, we’ve all seen Chris Brown’s acting abilities, and if his tears lacked an ounce of sincerity, that would be immediately detectable. U raise a very good point. But there are somethings I would like to address. You question whether or not he has taken time to rehabilitate and recover from the incident and whatever led to it. True. But how are we to know? As fans/onlookers we expect that celebrities have inform us about every aspect of their private life. That is an unfair expectation. Yes, he had to address the situation for some damage control, but aside from that, it isnt any of our business. Chris Brown has had some major consequences resulting from this incident. I dont doubt for a second that he is aware of the severity of his actions. Even if he didnt go to counseling or therapy, the fact that his professional career has been affected is enough to provoke some reflection and introspection. No. We have allowed her to deal with it privately and we assume now that she has grown. We allowed her to sing “Rude Boi” to our children at the Nickolodean awards, and we assume that she is even ready for a new relationship. We give her the benefit of the doubt. I think Brown deserves that same courtesy.

Recovery is a process that varies among individuals and only the individual knows when he/she has been recovered. People on the outside can make their assessment and/or take his word for it. So the issue isnt really whether or not he has recovered, but its whether or not we believe him. I dont know what it will take for him to be redeemed in the public’s eyes but I do believe he has had enough. Live and Let live. Elsewise, what is it that we need to see? A suicide? Cause MJ got no love until he died as well.

Lastly, your claim that he is a liar and a fraud is debatable. However, one thing’s for certain: he is human. So am I, and so are you. We make mistakes, we learn, we grow from them, and we move on. I dont think its healthy (or fair) for that natural process to be interrupted because we believe that some parts of it should be extended or curtailed. We have to disagree on how aware Chris is of his actions. I don’t think he understand the full scale of what he did. And I say that based off shi actions. It took Chris many months to even issue an apology because he was thinking of a legal way to get out of it. It would have been responsible to issue an apology right off the bat. But what did Chris do? The first time he was seen right after the attack was on a Jet Ski. acting like he did not have a care in the world. Then Chris’ legal team tried to mount a defense that Rihanna hit him first that failed because they could never argue that in court because police reports never supported that. Then he thought that Rihanna may never show up and that would dismiss the case they were wrong again. Then when it was clear Rihanna would show up and testify to what happened Chris took a plea deal. Then Chris did his interviews. All of these interview shifted blame or he said nothing at all. Then His CD came out. When it flopped he started going on twitter to blame Walmart, Radio Station anyone he could dream up. So Chris has a history of not accepting true responsibility for his actions. His own mother said her abusive relationships has No baring on his attack on Rihanna. So Chris does not even understand what he did. All he wants is so pick up EXACTLY where he left off. He even lashes out on Twitter against people who are critical of him.

Now cut to the Michael Jackon tribute. Chris used that to make a comeback for himself. Those tears were for himself because he wants to be seen as a VICTIM. If Chris did his mimic dance routine and left the stage like a man he would have won the respect of many but he could not just do that. The Fake Tears were used to make people feel sorry for him.

Chris is not any Victim and it was not a “mistake” what he did to Rihanna. He was aware of EXACTLY what he was doing. I really get upset when people make all of these excuses for him. That will not help him. When you bite a person that is over the top. He has not taken the time to understand his violence and all he wants to do is sing and dance. Life is not that way. He is still very dangerous and I think a year off dealing with himself would help him best. It’s not about singing and dancing it about changing. It’s about becoming better. Chris does not get that and this is why he keeps getting attacked. I want him to get help. I never want to see another girl go through what Rihanna did. She is very close to me age and my friends. My point is, there is no way for any of us to be certain about celebrities actions and the motives behind them. What characteristics would you like to see for you to believe taht he is remorseful? Better yet ,should he appear on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew? What will it take for you ?

As far as all the reasons you mentioned, I think it has more to do with the people who advise him as oppose to his personal actions. As a celebrity whose actions were under a microscope, he was recieving advice from every angle. Every move we saw him make was motivated by publicity. If he intended to work in the industry again, he had to do some damage control. Rihanna only decided to leave him when people started to question her actions after the incident and the sales of her upcoming album were in jeopardy. If she didnt throw him under the bus, her career would also be shaky as well. Yet and still, after court, she thought his punishment was too severe.

What we see is only a portion of the truth, it is what they allow us to see and know. Most of it isnt even true. If I were to believe everything that the internet blogs said about “his camp and “her camp”, there would be many contradicting stories. In fact, just before the incident I was reading about how possessive and jealous she was, and how he wanted to leave her but she wouldnt allow him to. I highly doubt that any of that is true, but it has been said.

I agree with his mother because claiming that the abusive upbringing he had led to his actions would provide an excuse, thus making him a victim, and placing the accountability for his actions on someone or something else. When Sandra Bullocks husband got caught cheating on her, he did and interview claiming he was was abused as a child. Really and that made you unfaithful to your wife? I do believe that there are sociological, environmental, and psychological circumstances that surrounds our behavoir, but I think that it is too heavily relied upon especially in situations like this.

This is really crazy. Yesterday, he cried because he was told too. Today, it’s eye drops. Why is it so hard to believe that he actually got emotional and cried on his own. Look at the last 2 years.
