This is new simply because:

1. It provides his European fans a reason why he’s canceling his tour.

2. How many rap artists do you hear about actually choosing to put family first b4 money?! How often do you hear any artist for that matter making this decision.

Drake may not be the best rapper, but part of the reason he is liked is for actions like this which shows him staying real and true to himself as a nice, family young man.

Drake cannot sell concert tickets because he is not an entertainer. His mother may be ill but this smells like a scapegoat to save face. His entire “rap” career is prefabricated…I don’t know anyone who actually bought his album which makes me believe 80% of his sales were covered by the label’s marketing budget to create buzz and drive real sales.

Have you noticed that most artists are either cancelling tours or not going on tour at all this summer? No one is selling tickets – most artists like this are overexposed and undertalented.
