After saying he was quitting rap to become a thespian back in May, Lil Bow Wow says he’s just going to take a hiatus:
“I will do an eighth album and then probably after that just probably quit and just focus on movies and acting. I figure, like, I’ve been doing this since I was five years old. It’s kinda hard to juggle this (music career) and acting; my agents are calling me all the time and I feel like I haven’t really given them enough time to do their thing, so I got to go over there and do some Hollywood things.” He adds, “I’ll at least take two years off, do my thing and come back.”
No one is really even checking for his ass anyway, but for those of you who are here is his spread in the “prestigious” King magazine.

I saw him “acting” on Entourage this weekend, and wasn’t impressed. I think he just needs to take some acting cl*****es and I think he’ll have a future on the gospel plays at the Beacon Theater.

Stop hating. Bow wow has had some hot songs. He has many adoring female fans that cry at the sight of him, and support whatever he does, taht is why he has been so successful. Bossip always feels it necessary to negatviely critque someone. They will never see the stacks Bow Wow has.

When you are a popular child star than there is no where for you to go but down. Didn’t anyone learn from MJ and Bobby Brown? These young actor need to know that there is more out there than Entertainment. Go to college, Merge in to something else than acting or music. Lil Romeo is doing alot more for him self then just being a child rapper the boy is in school w/ a full scholarship. Bow Wow is always going to be soft in music b/c that what is fans are looking for. He needs to take a break and do some search for his future before the check really stop coming. People are gettin tried of him and he needs better direction.

I think that Bow Wow was a great artist. He just fell off (to me) when him a Ciara broke up. He tried to come back kinda hard then he tried to make something work with Omarion. I just think he should do something different but alot of artist that leave off the scene never make it back to their potiental. SAD
