That’s whats up.. So wait are these real covers?

I don’t get it… Where are these sold at? And why would Vouge dedicate a whole line of magazines to African women. That is unlikely of them.

Look at that fat sherri shepard looking chick with the short hair.. She ugly as hell how did she get on the cover??

    I don’t get it…

But beautiful pics none the less

  • http://lecoil.tumblr.com/ Educated Goon

But either way these magazines are still celebrating “white beauty”..

Until people drop the wigs, perms, & weaves it will never be 100% “black beauty”

It will forever be “Which black girl can imitate white beauty the best”

  • ok this is what im talking about

  • her?yeahher

nice, real nice. vouge should make it happen :)

  • Educated Goon

    @her?yeahher

No they shouldn’t… Then all you would be doing is giving your money to a white man like you been doing all your life.

Black people we need to create and support our own ventures.

Asians do it.. Have you ever seen an Asian in a chevy or a ford? I highly doubt you have..They are always in Hondas,Toyotas,Nissans…

    You get where I’m going?

  • http://www.naylandhouse.com www.naylandhouse.com

    Beautiful covers!

  • Sigh

    Love it!!!

  • freakquency

    hi all,

Conde Nast has denied the license for a VOGUE Africa although there is a declination of VOGUE in Asia and even in many other countries. But it doesn’t matter as there are bigger and better projects coming.

@Educated Goon, you right we should start our own magazines and that’s exactly what “that fat sherri shepard looking chick with the short hair.. ugly as hell” is doing. She is the editor in chief of the WebMagazine Ghubar. you should check it out (http://www.ghubar-magazine.com) ;-)

  • Stupidity is a disease

Beautiful is an understatement. They need to stop playing and make this happen. Africa needs to be put up front. So, tired of seeing nothing but white women, nothing racist, just saying. There are so many different kinds of beauty that black women or African women posses and these pictures are a plethora of that celebration!

    Do it!

  • CHILE BOY GIRL PLEASE

@EDUCATED FOOL STFU…idiot. for you to say there celebrtaing “white beauty” is beneath IGNORANT..DEFINE WHITE BEAUTY??? is it straight hair? NO…IS IT MAKEUP? NO. IS IT GLAM? HELL NO….first of all not all white people have straight hair, and not all black people have kinky hair. WIGS PERMS RELAXERS CAN BE CELEBRATED BECAUSE ITS A CHOICE OF BEAUTY…it doesnt define it enhances it. now go and do something you probably never done…read a damn book.

SMDH @ such foolish YOUNG bloods in this world.

anyways these covers are beautiful and I LOOOOVE THE IDEA OF VOGUE AFRICA..that would be so dope and most certainly INPSPIRING TO NOT ONLY OUR BLACK WOMEN BUT TO ALL WOMEN PERIOD. and its also changin the game on how DIVERSE BEAUTY IS CELEBRATED.

@EDCUATED FOOL YOU HAVE GOT TO BE THE MOST IGNORANT PIECE OF SH*T I HAVE EVER DISCOVERED ON A BLOG.
do you know every chinese asian american??? I DONT THINK U DO BECAUSE IVE SEEN PLENTY OF ASIANS AND CHINESE PPL DRVING AMERICAN CARS…of course in THERE COUNTRY u want see that as much because AMERICAN CARS ARE MAINLY SOLD IN AMERICA fool…lol smdh.

SOO UMMM whom are you givin ur money to?? lol as long as ur uneducated a** resides in AMERICA ur money will always go to a white man…hate it or love it. dont talk that polictical bs and still be BLINDLY in support of it.

  • CHILE BOY GIRL PLEASE

@UNEDUCATED FOOL AND ALSO NOTE WHO’S DA F**K ON THE MONEY U SPEND..a white man…LMAO

  • JC

UM YEAH, VOGUE TURNED THIS IDEA DOWN FLAT! This was a proposal. They said, hell no to!

Black people on the cover of Vogue – any Vogue rarely happens. Thus the Black Italian Vogue was born and was one of the first foreign fashion magazines to EVER sell out in the United States!!! Educate yourself – http://www.glossedover.com/glossed_over/2008/07/italian-vogues.html

And they still won’t put a black girl on the cover of a high fashion magazine but once in a blue-moon.

It’s like they have a quota!

Africa Vogue ISN’T Real, unfortunately – even with these beautiful covers that Mario created. Try ARISE magazine for High Fashion Africa! And it’s by black people!

Let them know you want a BLACK VOGUE. Write Conde Nast.

a lot of u said they should do this, but it’s already in place, they don’t just have vouge in america, they have vouge africa, vouge italy etc

  • DaughterofHathor

Why dont the person pushing for a vogue africa start up their own glossy magazine dedicated to african women?

  • I love love an Asian MAN

Beauty natural sister — like me — from the mother land. F&*(& Vogue …start your our own magazine! Or, why not ESSENCE AFRICA!!!

  • http://lecoil.tumblr.com/ Educated Goon

    CHILE BOY GIRL PLEASE

B*tch you can lick my azz. Thats what you can do.

  • Jordana216

All “models” in King,Smooth, Black Men,etc please take note. These women here are real beautiful black models. While some of u might be beautiful also, you’ll never really ever be a model. You are a stationary stripper, merely a h0e. Put some clothes on(preferably something high fashion) figure out some new poses(something besides a back shot) and then maybe will u be considered as a serious model. Until then, these pictures will put u to shame while making u all look like foolish, misguided jeezebels…

  • Somali Ninga

    @ Jordana216
    WELL SAID!!!!

  • http://www.bossip.com whats really good?

Vogue and Africa don’t belong in the same sentence together.LMAOOOOO There is nothing fashionable about Africa and the covers look like I took ‘em.Sorry but those covers and some of those “models” are ugly as sin.Thank God it will only be distributed in Africa where they don’t know any better.

  • http://www.bossip.com whats really good?

Oh my God look at the last one…ugly tar baby.Don’t front ya’ll that looks like an ape!
