I’m happy for them. I was mad at her at first because of the whole Mashonda situation but I realize these 2 make a much better couple. He found someone more compatible. Mashonda will find someone more compatible to her too. So i’ve accepted it. AKeys is wonderful, I like her and always will.

Well I wish them the VERY BEST and a lot of happiness. No need to dwell on the past. Evidently – his ex and him were not meant to be or they would be together. Things happen – even in marriages. Divorce is a dime a dozen these days – so I can’t hate on them or no one else who don’t want to be where they are. You get one life – you better try to enjoy it as much as you can. Not at the expense of others – but if shyt aint working out – it aint working out.

Life’s too short, and love can come from anywhere. This said, I’m happy for them, and wish them longevity. God bless their innocent baby.

Swizz has some beautiful sons, so i think this one will be beautiful as well. However its really hard for me to stomach these two because the circumstances in how they met. I just hope Alicia realizes that you loose a man the same way you met him.

I don’t agree with any of this.

I dont think her age has anything to do with it. She is like 29 not 18. I think that maybe the fact that she is in love makes it hard for her to see the truth but again, that still doesn’t make her innocent because she allowed herself to fall love with him while he was married. by no means do i believe that she came in and completely broke up the marriage. im sure they had problems already. but how they handled the situation was wrong. but im not gonna condemn them. everyone has to answer for what they do. I wish the very best for her baby.

she may be 29 but I don’t think she has real life experience. Real life experience makes you less idealistic. For instance if 2 women are 29 and one has 2 kids and the other has none, I think the person w/2 kids has a different viewpoint on how to approach things.
IMO Alicia should have tried to find someone more on her wavelength, more equally yoked.

I still dont think its about age…it more about morals…cuz there are women out there that are 18, 29, 35 or 45 who would sleep with a married man. and you have women those same ages who wouldn’t dare do the same thing….also its very true that we dont know the whole story and its safe to say we never will. However, i dont have to be in the house to know that sleeping with someone’s elses husband is wrong. I think you should treat a person how you want to be treated. and i know for a fact that if he was your husband, all u women saying they werent wrong, would be singing a different tune.

IMO the reason she pursued it is because he probably was telling her what she was doing and had her thinking different things. She doesn’t have enough life experience and took it at face value what he was saying. I think what happened is Swizz kept seeing her at events and kept looking at her and making little comments over time which led to flirting. Then over time the flirting led to kicking it. Which is leading to her nose being so open she probably doesn’t have a pre-nup.

Swizz is messy and sloppy, and has too much baggage (too many kids, baby moms, ex-wife), and the situation is messy as well. I hope it really is love, but something tells me that it won’t last 10 years, like his last marriage did.

Swizz Beatz is happy and his children are excited. So, I wish them the BEST of luck. If his children are HAPPY about the wedding and baby, I’m happy for them, too. The children and Mashonda’s feeling were my biggest concern, but they move on and so have me. I wouldn’t ever guessed that you were a newspaper editor in a million years. I thought editors have a computer at their house for to use not blackberrys. You talk like you are so intelligent and educated, but use improper grammar. You said, “Please go back and proof read my work.” Well, this is the internet, and everybody uses slang. This internet isn’t my job or my college. Why should I try to impress people like you that are losers? You don’t pay my bills. My job deals with REAL newspaper editors that write reports and take pictures about our company.

Best of luck to them both. I saw a picture on another site of them and his oldest son and her brother and they look so happy and content. I am happy to see that the oldest childs mother seems to be really cool about him hanging with them, that’s great he will have a great realationship with his father, hopefully Mashonda will allow her son to spend time with his dad, if not he will miss out on a great relationship. They are right to not discuss their personal business in public, I hope that Alicia continues to follow Oprahs advice on keeping your personal life to yourself, she has done a great job so far because all that people have are assumptions and unfortunately it’s only the blacks, the people that matter could care less about her personal life. Why on earth would you want to marry someone who was cheating on their wife being with you? I mean you don’t see that that’s what he is going to do with you? We teach people how to treat us, and if she let people treat us wrong then that’s what they are going to do. Alicia Keys is not that young to not know what’s going on and where it could end up. I love her and everything but real is real, and she knew what she was getting into when she got into it. I don’t want nobody else’s man what so ever and I don’t want nobody else’s man wanting me. I don’t even be friend with none of my ex because of that, first of all it’s over for a reason. Second when you are friends with your ex that only leaves room for them to keep playing mind games with you over and over again, and it will never stop. I hope that for her sake that things does work it’s self out, but I can’t see that happening because of the way the both did what they did to his wife. I as a mother don’t blame her for meeting up with Alicia Keys because I would want to know what kind of person my son was around too and if he would be safe at all time with you.
