Poor thang! Damon Dash’s Tribeca Loft is going into foreclosure auction tomorrow.
The place, a 5,200-square-foot duplex in The Atalanta at 25 N. Moore Street, was purchased for $3.875 million in 2004, but after Dash began to miss making the ridiculous $78,504.20-per-month mortgage payment a few years ago, he tried to sell it for $7.9 million, in hopes of paying back some of his debt. Unfortunately his attempts to sell were unsuccesful.
The auction will take place tomorrow at 1:00 P.M. The listing for the loft states:
“This stunning 5,200 SF duplex loft boasts 20 foot ceilings in the living room, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths on TriBeCas best block. Add huge windows facing north and south, a mint kitchen and luxurious bathrooms, it leaves nothing to be desired.
